i tried to get new apps from the president of the poketch company...but it does not show in my poketch after i talk to him many times...is this a bug?

Maybe because you haven't beaten enough gym leaders. The president of the Poketch Company gives you apps based on how much gym leaders you've beaten. (Hope This Helps!) :)
