I want a tyranitar to use against the elite four in SS, so I want to know if I can get one before beating the elite four. Also, please give me details on how and when I can get it. Thanks!

Yes. Larvitar is found in the Mountain area, which is availableafter you've completed Baoba's first challenge. It'savailable during the Morning/Day, and is listed as "Uncommon."
