I love double battles, and i wanted to know if using psychic up in a double battle with a golduck would raise my golduck's stats, or lower them.

It would raise them, it would do this is because the contrary does not reverse the effects of the stat change but the stat change itself, so Golduck would copy the S.Attack raise.
