Question

i have a magneton and want to evolve it. there is a mt coronet in pokemon platinum so do i just walk in with magneton in my team and will it evolve. if no, how do you evolve it.

You have to level up your Magneton once in Mt. Coronet. And then it shall evolve! Amazing! Then you have a new, stronger Pokemon. You don't walk in and then it evolves. You have to make it level up once by a Rare Candy or battling.

ya, my plan is train it until it has about 100 exp to next level. then just battle wild pokemon inside!
