I'm trying to have a wifi battle through the GBU?

Every time after i choose free or ranking battle it says there was a problem with your pokemon and they could not participate.

I think it is because your pokemon are pokegened or they have moves they couldn't learn or stat s they couldn't get.

You also cannot have any hacked or unreleased Pokemon.
