Not quite sure, should be something from CR2016 to CR2032...That was enough for Tamagotchi :D

Batteries for Pokemon emerald are quite easy to find, I would bet RadioShack (and other simile electronics stores) would have some. Just make sure you take the old battery with you, so you know what to get once you are there.
