Watering berries in Gen. III games?

Rain waters the plants. And you water them because some berries, if watered, grow back into new berry plants!

ALL berries grow into plants. All plants carry 2 berries, I don't think you understood my question. Does the amount of berries a plant produces increase by watering the plant, if so how many times must it be watered for which amounts?
