As of Generation V, there are 109 (111 if you count Rotom-W & Castform) Water-type Pokémon or 16.80% (17.10 if you count Rotom-W & Castform) of all Pokémon, making it the most common of the seventeen types.

If you count Rotom-W & Rainy Form Castform, yes, 111 Water-Types. But those are form differences, not separate Pokemon. I put it anyways.
