Does anyone know a way to easily get Arceus into your pokedex? I've tried trade forums and GTS Negotiations but nothing seems to work. Any tips?

To get Arceus' Pokedex info, you must either trade with someone who has an Arceus, hack (certainly not recommended), or migrate one with the PokeTransfer. Other than that, you can't get an Arceus in Gen V through regular play.

Oh I know that, I was just wondering if there was any tips on finding someone to trade with because I most certainly won't resort to hacking and I missed the event due to having no wi-fi at the time, but thanks for the thoughtful answer!
