Don't think this is spam. I'm just going through old questions and giving best answer as is part of my job.

Please don't do this if the question is new - give the original asker a chance to do that themselves. But if a question is over a week old and there is a clear best answer, you can select it. (You don't get any points for this.)
As for repeat answers, if they are an hour later than the previous answer and your answer did not add anything new, I will downvote and hide like I used to do. So cut out your point-grubbing!
