Animated Profile Pictures (Gravatars)?

Question

Can Gravatar display animated images, such as .gif images??

I'm asking here on PokeBase-META because:

1. I cannot find a FAQ on the Gravatar site to tell me
2. I want this as my new profile picture.

No. Simple as that.
You can test with a moving sprite, and it won't work.
