Make it 15-20 minutes. That would be enough time to change your password and still have some time left over.

I don't really see any benefit to that. I'm pretty sure the system already locks you out if you get your password wrong several times. Notifying you isn't going to help anything. What are you gonna do if you receive an email like that? There isn't anything you can do.
