Well, we know the X and Y starters types, so why not post them on their pages?

From what I can understand of your question is that you are wondering why the starters are not in the pokedex, right? If so than the reason is because we do not have all of the information about these pokemon.
We have no stats, no evolution levels, nothing like that.
That is why it's not on the pokedex section yet.

If I misunderstood your question let me know and I can hide this.

No we know Chespin is graas Frokae is water and Fenneikin is fire. why isnt it on their pages
http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/froakie it says here that Froakie is water.
http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/fennekin says here that Fennekin is fire.
http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/chespin says here that Chespin is grass.

Was it a different page you're looking at? If so could I have a link please?
He's looking at the official X and Y page.
@ Pika, I think that that's sort of implied.
http://pokemondb.net/x-y this page?
There are links to the pokemon on the right hand side.
It says right on the X&Y page - "They follow the tried-and-tested pattern of Grass, Fire and Water types." And it's on their Pokedex pages, as MrKijani has pointed out.
What??
Forget what I said. Please.
