[Suggestion] Name Changes.

Question

Can we let the moderators handle the changes rather than letting people do them on their own? There has been quite a few triggering names on chat and also impersonations(as seen on the ban report page.) Letting the Moderators handle it will easily fix these issues and make it easier for you(Pokemaster) by laying your trust on the Mods with this.

Indigo's idea doesn't change anything, it just gives more opportunity to change your names. There will still be issues as people can still change their names.

Actually no, that is not nearly as much. The amount of people that change their name is actually abysmal, 30-40 people, which the Mods can do. It only takes a second to change a person's name, and it wouldn't even be every day, there will be limits. I just think we need a solution to this issue and this is the best one.

Maybe increase the range to Editor and I'm with ya. Lots of people change names but don't really say who they were, post on the page or their wall. Granted if these people don't appear often then it won't matter too much but they might still ask...

I was originally going to suggest Editors as well, but the problem is that Editors do not have access to profiles like Moderators do. Unless PM can change it so that Editors do have access, I don't think it'd be possible.
