Meta-PokéBase Q&A

I asked a question earlier about the whole confirmation e-mail thing; and I wondered "how did I ask a question on META if I'm not able to do it on PokeBase? Is this a bug/glitch? Has this problem happened to anyone? How come?
Thanks for the help (when you answer)!
EDIT: Hopefully, if I rephrase this it would help. I can ask a question on META (even without the e-mail confirmation thing; which when I click the link, it says that the confirmation thing has been sent, but that's another story) BUT I can't ask on Pokebase. Is this normal? Why can I only ask on META without my e-mail confirmed?

In response to the updated question, I am unsure as to why this is happening to you. I think the only person who can answer this is Pokemaster himself, as he is the only one who can see the site's settings and permissions that would dictate what you can and can't do without a confirmed email.

Can you outline exactly what went wrong when you tried to post a question on the PokeBase section? At this point in time, posts you make should be treated the exact same way in every section of the site, so if you can post here on Meta, you should be able to post on the other sections. This issue has never been brought up before to my knowledge, so perhaps it's something that's gone wrong on your end of things?

Looking through the admin's list of hidden posts and through your public activity lists, I cannot find any questions from you on the main section. That means that if you tried to make a post, it wasn't submitted properly. Perhaps try submitting it again and seeing how it turns out?

(Note that if it doesn't show up instantly, it's because a staff member will have to check and approve it first, which is what happens for all users under 25 points. A message appears on your post when this happens. If it's been more than 12 hours and you still can't find your post in the My Updates section, you've probably had more issues submitting it.)

Pretty sure that meta had no point requirement to post on (at least in the past). Maybe I'm just old and senile ;I.
