When you make a question it counts it as looking at your own question (1 view). You can also look at it more than once to give it more views, making a question look popular when it is really not. I'm not sure if people actually do this, but it can happen.

It already counts as one view when you write a question. Also it would be stupid if it counted as several views.
I worded it wrong.  The last part should say it can happen, not it can't happen.  Also the whole point is what you said speed freak.
Why would anyone do that? Isn't that kind of... bummy?
Making something seem better than it is dishonest.

You can't just keep refreshing the page to add to the view count.
