Team at a glance:
Ninetales, Venusaur, Volcarona, Infernape, Donphan, Cloyster
Detailed Team:

Ninetales @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 120 SDef / 136 Spd
Calm Nature
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute
- Protect
This Ninetales is my weather inducer. I've made it as bulky as I can with special concern for Special attackers. However, I also wanted to outspeed other Weather inducers. As for the moves, flamethrower is a pretty accurate, standard fire move. The Sub, Protect & W.o.W are to keep me alive As long as possible. Only thing I'm considering changing here is flamethrower, possibly to fire blast for extra power or Overheat for the accuracy + not staying in long.

Venusaur @ Life Orb
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 2 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
- Growth
- SolarBeam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sludge Bomb
Venusaur is one of the best Chlorophyll sweepers. With a Timid nature + 252EVs, he can even outspeed jolly Shell Smash Cloyster, which is pretty quick. As for the moves, Growth is a brilliant way to abuse the Sun, Solar beam is a great attacking move (in the sun only), & HP Fire + Sludge Bomb are for coverage. The only thing that really worries me is Heatran, who completely walls this set.

Volcarona @ Leftovers
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 Spd
Bold Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Roost
Volcarona is another great sweeper, who after 1 or two quiver dances can sweep. Fiery Dance & Bug Buzz are two excellent STAB moves which work great against those pesky Psychic types that give Venusaur trouble. Roost is out of concern for those pesky water types, as well as the horrible stealth rock damage.

Infernape @ Choice Band/Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge/Mach Punch
- U-turn
This guy is great, & I chose the EVs for obvious reasons, but the problem I have right now is whether to go with Choice banded Infernape who wouldn't be able to use mach punch to it's fullest (& therefore wouldn't have it), or Life Orb Infernape which exchanges the Stone edge for at least 1 priority move, which is very important. The problem is that I'll lose out on a lot of KOs without that Choice band, but the priority move is neccessary as well.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Shard
Pretty easy. When one has Volcarona in their team, a spinner simply MUST exist to get rid of those annoying Stealth rocks, while dishing some out of it's own. Ferrothorn & Foretress could never stand the sun, & Tentacruel wouldn't enjoy having it's water type moves cut by 50%. So Donphan was pretty much my only choice.
I used to have a bulky variation of Donphan, but it was unhelpful & did not really survive well. Therefore I changed it into an attacking form, and it's worked great. I'm interested in trying out a Dugtrio, which could work as a weather trapper, as Venusaur NEEDS the sun to work his magic. However, that would get rid of the very very important spinner this team needs. So I'm kind of stuck there.

Cloyster @ Focus Sash
Trait: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Cloyster may seem like a strange pokemon to use in a sun team, but he actually works brilliantly. I still have no idea why he works so well, but he does. His focus sash + Shell smash always works great, and I have no problems using him. The fact that he doesn't use water type moves, and actually uses HP Fire is a brilliant part about him that means he actually benefits from the sun rather well. However, if you have any thoughts on a different pokemon, feel free to ask.

So, I have been using this team for a while, editing out it flaws & making it work. It's losing too many matches for my liking, however.
Any help please?

Two things I dislike on your Team, if you don't mind my saying so. Those are: Ninetales's Will-o-wisp (too low accuracy - does it really work?) and Cloyster's Rock blast (no type coverage, rather low accuracy and you already have Icicle spear).
So, I'd switch Will-o-wisp with Solarbeam (or Extrasensory, Dark pulse, Psyshock, Confuse ray) and Rock blast with Surf (or other better type-coverage Move than a Rock-type one which doesn't help much).
You'd be surprised about Will-o-Wisp. The number of physical attackers that have been able to OHKO ninetales after a burn even with something like Earthquake has been large. However, I will change it to solar beam & try it out.
Cloyster's rock blast, however I would definitely agree with. It has had many misses. I will certainly change it with Surf, although I am worried that the Sunny weather may let me down in that area.
mpea from Kupo. Welcome.
Heatran causes problems for this team once Infernape and Donophan have been eliminated. With a Fire type Immunity from the Flash Fire Ability, a Poison Immunity from its Steel typing, and a 4* resistance to Grass type attacks, it can grab that 50% Fire boost and wall 2/3 if the team. Ninetails cannot even touch it, literally, and even at +6 SAtk, Venuaur's Solarbeam won't be doing much on a Specially Defensive set. Lets not forget what a nightmare it would be to set up with Volcarona to only be able to attack with a 4* resisted by Bug Buzz, then be roared away with a 50% tax to it's HP when it comes back, despite Riist.  Cloyter's set is walled, although it could Shell Smash to break through. But good luck doing that if it attacks and exposes that -2 SDef drop.
In addition to the above points, keep in mind that Heatran forms a nice core with Gliscor, which could wall Infernape, and could stall Donphan out with Toxic! Protect, and Substitute.set.
Right, if you're going with a mixed Cloyster, one using Shell Smash of all things, you'll want a Naive nature. Maybe move some EVs into Special Attack, make Surf and HP FIre more powerful. Icicle Spear has 125+STAB base power, you can easily divert some EVS.

And EH is right, a Heatscore... core... could do some real damageb to your team. You'll be able to break it down eventually, but not without enough damage having been done that you will lose to the other four members. Now, if you were to go with the standard Mixape (HP Ice, Close Combat, Overheat/Flare Blitz/Fire Blast, whatever else you want for coverage) then you could have a better chance of breaking that core.
