Dark types took a hit from losing their Special Energy. But Dark Explorers helped make up for that. This is a mono-dark deck. It goes for those heavy hits.

-150 HP and Psychic resistance makes this a hard guy to take down. And it takes down foes hard. Either in one turn or in two. Probably two prizes have been taken by the time Krookodile comes out. So 80 damage. Not enough to KO the foe. But first use the 60 damage attack and prevent them from escaping. Then KO them the next turn. Late game this guy is incredibly powerful. With three prizes it can 2HKO EX cards. With five prizes it can OHKO the entire game under most situations. It'll take a Giant Cape Wailord to survive. The three retreat cost is taken care of by Darkrai.
