Pokémon Rate My Team

When I first made this team it was really nothing more than me being bored and deciding to try some new stuff in OU. The original version if the time was pretty rough, but I didn't care. That had been sometime in February. Originally the team had a lot of missing EVs, no Stealth Rocks, and was made rather carelessly, but I saw it had potential and didn't delete it when I was done using it. I was fond of the team but I was too tired to fix it up right then, and you better beleive I forgot about it. BUT, about 2 or 3 weeks later, I was going through my PO teams and deleting the ones that were outdated or mae when I was too nubby, and I saw this team simply labeled "hi". Upon opening it, I recognized the team and over the course of a few weeks took it through some testing on PO. I really like this team, it is fun to use, is not standard by any means, and uses some of my favorite pokemon, notably Slowbro. The team has one notable weakness and that weakness would be strong fire types in the sun, namely Chlorophyll abusers outfitted with Fire moves. However Fire types and Sun in general has presented no such threat since Stealth Rock was introduced to Jirachi and between Landorus, Rocks, and Slowbro, fire types are supressed before any severe damage can be dealt. This team has had some great wins, and I'll be posting 2 replays of those here. One of those replays would be [Mike's Rain Esemble][1] being [utterly destroyed][2], and and another being [the team taking down a rain team of Leader Wolf's][3].

HelluvaKitty @ Choice Scarf
![enter image description here][4]
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Landorus is the teams scarfer and also holds the honor of being used the most as the lead pokemon, as it can bluff a Stealth Rock set, only to U-turn out and gain me some momentum, better yet leaving the opponent obivious to the fact that I'm scarfed.Instead of just saying that he is an offensive powerhouse, I think I'll show you.

252Atk Landorus Therian (Neutral) Earthquake vs 252HP/252Def Ninetales (+Def): 87% - 103% (306 - 362 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO. 21% chance to OHKO.

OHKO after SR, and nobody even runs max Def Ninetales anyway.

>252Atk Landorus Therian (Neutral) Earthquake vs 252HP/252Def Ninetales (+Def): 87% - 103% (306 - 362 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO. 21% chance to OHKO.

After SR that's a good chance to OHKO, and CBtar can pretty much forget about taking that.

>0SpAtk Landorus Therian (Neutral) Hidden Power (Ice) vs 200HP/0SpDef Landorus Therian (Neutral): 65% - 80% (272 - 324 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

Note that both Lando forms have equal SDef, and only the bulky pivot Lando-T will be running those HP EVs which leave it to be OHKO'd after Stealth Rock.

>0SpAtk Landorus Therian (Neutral) Hidden Power (Ice) vs 4HP/0SpDef Garchomp (Neutral): 68% - 80% (244 - 288 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

>0SpAtk Landorus Therian (Neutral) Hidden Power (Ice) vs 0HP/0SpDef Dragonite (Neutral): 65% - 78% (212 - 252 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

After SR, ofc.

Take it (Slowbro) (M) @ Leftovers
![enter image description here][5]
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Fire Blast

Slowbro is my great physical wall. He can take a plethora of hits and with his decent base 100 SAtk and decent coverage in Fire Blast and Scald, can bring an ususpecting team to its knees by erasing a Ferrothorn (And as we all know, the death of a Ferrothorn is very influental to a battle) with Fire Blast.

>0SpAtk Slowbro (Neutral) Fire Blast vs 252 HP/168SpDef Ferrothorn (+SpDef): 68% - 80% (240 - 284 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

As you can see Ferrothorn can't switch into Slowbro if I predict correctly (Which isn't that hard), and even though Fire Blast 3HKO's it in the rain Ferro still ends up taking the damage above from 2 back to back Fire Blasts, and that is not a comfortable amount of damage to take. Slowbro can take on most Ferro variants besides CB Ferro, as he doesn't really care about being paralyzed and can take more than a few Power Whips, seen here:

>0Atk Ferrothorn (Neutral) Power Whip vs 252 HP/252 Def Slowbro (+Def): 42% - 50% (168 - 198 HP). Guaranteed 3HKO.

So as you see if Ferro decides to go and attack Slowbro, it won't win, as Slowbro can outspeed with Fire Blast, take a Power Whip, and kill Ferro with another Fire Blast assuming it stays in, and after Lefties an Regenerator Slowbro couldn't care less about being hit by a STAB Power Whip. This of course is just an example, and Slowbro is quite the powerhouse against non-Ferrothorns as well.

Problem? (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
![enter image description here][6]
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 232 SDef / 24 Spd
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Iron Head

Pretty much your standard Special Wall Jirachi. Synergizes well except for the fire weakness, sets rocks, provides Wish recovery to team mates such as Slowbro, Landorus, and Conkedlurr, and spreads Paralyzation and Parahaxes like a sir. As of yet Jirachi is quite the annoyance to opposition of all kinds, hence the nickname.

Ninja'd (Weavile) (F) @ Life Orb
![enter image description here][7]
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Night Slash
- Ice Shard
- Ice Punch
- Low Kick

This is something I wish was used in OU more, as it's like a Mamoswine with roller skates. 10 less base attack, but at a trade for an insane Speed stat and an equally anti-metagame secondary typing in Dark. Night Slash picks off Psychic and Ghost types, Ice Shard revenges pesky Chlorophyll abusers that give me trouble, Ice Punch is STAB for things like unboosted Dragonites and Landorus's and stuff like that. Low Kick 2HKO's Ferrothorn, enying it the ability to switch into it, OHKO's Tyranitar, and brings standard Heatran down to an abysmal amount of HP, which is usually remedied by Stealth Rock and putting damage on the Heatran before it comes in to kill Weavile.

Knuckle Sammich (Conkeldurr) (M) @ Leftovers
![enter image description here][8]
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Mach Punch
- Ice Punch

True to its name, SubPunch Conk hits like a train and hands bone shattering punches to it's peers in OU. He hits like a train with Focus Punch, his base 140 Atk and STAB ensuring it plows through most anything not resisting it, and some things that do, while Mach Punch provides priority and Ice Punch hits the Lati twins, Salad, D-nite, and the occasional Grass/Poison type. Yeah it gets walled by a few things but that's what switching is for.

Viriziown @ Lum Berry
![enter image description here][9]
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Giga Drain
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]

I love CM Virizion. His speed does wonders for the team and his naturally high SDef and acceptable SAtk make him a stellar CM abuser and this set gets great coverage and while it may not synergize so well this thing get's more 6-0 sweeps than anything else on the team. Lum Berry stops him from being paralyzed in most cases but in extreme cases helps him take down the rare but annoying Focus Sash + Spore Breloom.

I'm really sorry guys but I had to take so much of this off when I posted it it exceeded the charcter limit and after copy and poasting it to Word I found out I had about 200 characters too many, so I'm really mad but please enjoy what I was able keep on here.
why mannhattan project?

you  need a snorlax and maybe a giratina or 2
You can't have more than one Giratina's in any tier much less OU where even a single Giratina is banned. Also Snorlax would provide nothing really to the team. As for the name, Manhattan Project was the name of the project that developed the Atomic Bomb in World War 2.
Team seems a bit weak to Gyarados... Lololol, umad Ben? xD
Actually the team takes down Gyarados's all the time, it's just that no one runs Sub on Gyarados because they haven't suffered brain damage like you and Mew :P
Yanmega is a rare, albeit potential, threat.
suffered brain damage? c'mon Ben, that's something i would have remembered xD

but in all reality, i believe Energ/ possibly Hershey (idk, a showdown user) uses SubGyara as well, so yeah xP
Ben, can you quit the arrogance man? My Team changed. And it's really annoying me.
Sorry Mike. I wasn't meaning to be arrogant I was just teasing you. Maybe I did go overboard but I was also seriously in awe that I beat your team at all, if you know what I mean. No hard feelings?
