Politoed (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

  • Scald
  • Toxic
  • Protect
  • Perish Song

Holding the title of being the only OU Pokemon to possess Drizzle, Politoed is a staple for any non Swift Swim Rain teams. Using Politoed's great bulk, I went ahead and use the Defensive set over the Choice Specs set, as I do have another user of Specs. Since Politoed can sponge many different moves, such and Fire and Water, the rest of my team isn't as badly affected. Scald is Rain boosted STAB, and can burn opponents for the bolstering of my Defense. Toxic is my way to dealing heavier damage that a burn will ever do. Protect can scout my opponent's next move, as well as prolonging Burn, Toxic, and Perish Song, my only hard counter to SubBoosters.

Jirachi @ Leftovers

Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 20 SAtk / 236 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)

  • Body Slam
  • Thunder
  • Iron Head
  • Wish

Jirachi is an crucial member for the team, as without it, the 2 Choiced sweepers have slight problems, although not too much. Jirachi plays to major roles: Wish pass 202 HP using Wish to Gastrodon, Ferrothorn, or whoever needs it. Second, it plays the annoyer role. Body Slam and Thunder have a 60% chance of getting paralysis, and then we can flinch the opponent off with Iron Head's 60% chance to Flinch. The paralysis that Jirachi provides helps my team greatly due to the number of slow, bulky sweepers on this team. If Jirachi goes down, the team gets a little harder to play, but it is still manageable.

Gastrodon (F) @ Choice Specs

Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 124 HP / 252 SAtk / 132 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

  • Surf
  • Earth Power
  • Ice Beam
  • Hidden Power [Grass]

>Mew, are you nuts? Gastrodon is a Defensive Pokemon!

Yeah, I know, xD
Specs Gastrodon is actually a extremely powerful threat with the proper support, like Jirachi's Wish and Paralysis support. And when I manage to switch Gastrodon into a Water type move...it's gonna hurt for the opponent. With Specs, this guy reaches 466 SAtk, which is crazy. With Storm Drain, it rockets up to 622. Ouch? And when they get hit a Rain boosted STAB Surf? Ouch? This thing even hits Celebi pretty hard (Not that I'd be stupid enough to stay in on one, but..), maybe after I use Ice Beam to freeze Grass Pokemon in their tracks. Is a Tentacruel annoying the living hell out of you? STAB Earth Power saves the day! Hidden Power Grass hits opposing Gastrodon and Water types in general harder.

Ferrothorn (F) @ Choice Band

Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
| 0 Spd

  • Bulldoze
  • Power Whip
  • Gyro Ball
  • Shadow Claw

Might consider Explosion.

>Mew, that's 2 weird Pokemon in a row! BANDED FERROTHORN?

Yeah, Banded Ferrothorn. Too good. 472 Atk after Band is great.
The surprise factor of this set catches many Pokemon off guard. Pokemon such as Espeon and Xatu get slaughtered by Shadow Claw, as well and Jellicent that are stupid enough to stay in on Ferrothorn. Predicting a Heatran to switch in on you? Don't fear, Bulldoze will OHKO it! (Well..assuming it has no Air Balloon) The dual STABs that Ferro runs round off the limited coverage that he gets, but hey, that's what teammates are for. Gyro Ball becomes insanely powerful, after Band and Brave. I've seen it chip off a quarter of Heatran's health before. Power Whip is just a good move on Ferrothorn, hitting bulky waters for good damage.

Landorus-T (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 200 HP / 64 Atk / 244 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

  • Stone Edge
  • Earthquake
  • U-turn
  • Stealth Rock

Just your typical offensive pivot Landorus-T. Nothing interesting. This team has some problems with Terrakion, and hence, this thing was added. Stone Edge and STAB Earthquake form the famous EdgeQuake combination, allowing me to hit loads of stuff for at least neutral damage. U-turn keeps momentum in the team, allowing me to switch to an appropriate counter for my opponent's current Pokemon. Since hazards could ease Ferrothorn and Gastrodon's time on the field, I opted for Stealth Rock.

Thundurus-T (M) @ Life Orb

Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
| 2 Atk / 30 Def

  • Agility
  • Thunder
  • Hidden Power [Ice]
  • Focus Blast

Easily my favorite Thundurus-T set. Agility boosts Thundurus-T's speed to untouchable levels, and with it, can outspeed the entire Metagame. With the speed, along with raw power and great coverage with its moves, it can perform a sweep right in front of my opponent's eyes. Thunder gets the STAB and the perfect accuracy in the rain, and forms the famous BoltBeam combination (in pseudo form) with Hidden Power Ice, which hits the majority of the metagame for neutral damage. Focus Blast rounds off the coverage, mainlt hitting Steels harder, and kills off Magnezone, who resists BoltBeam.

No 0 IVs on Ferrothorn? to further boost Gyro Ball?
I imported from PO, so no IVs are shown lol
I'll edit them in.
SubSalac Thundy > Agility Thundurus= Mamoswine bait, who can also cause problems for your Physical Wall.

Thundurus-T (M) @ Salac Berry
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunder / Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Nasty Plot
- Substitute

This guy fits better as it is capable of breaking through even Blissey, and isn't threatened by Speedy threats or Mamoswine.
CB Scizor with Sleep Talk > Ferrothorn for strong Priority and Breloom check.
Is it just me or is this team kind of... Slow....
There's a reason why Jirachi was added to the team.
Yeah I got that. But what happens if she goes down? If she somehow doesn't Paralyze when you need her to?
There's also a reason some team members have HP EVs :3
Okay Mew you win.
YES! someone else used Band ferrothorn :D :D!! I have long awaited this day.
Bulldoze + Gyro ball...
There's a reason that Choice Band is there..
To use ONE move...
lolololol awesome team Mew :3
switch out and switch back in.
Yeah but what does that accomplish?
