So I've been working on this new Doubles Team on PS for quite a while, and I'm really happy with the result. I peaked at around rank #89 on the ladder for a few days, and I'm pleased to say I've won a good 90% of battles. So this team is based around my two leads, Butterfree and Kangaskhan, who just form a really epic lead. Without further ado, here's the team!
___

My Leads (Butterfree and Kangaskhan)

enter image description here
Butterfree (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Compoundeyes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 HP / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature

  • Sleep Powder
  • Whirlwind
  • Tailwind
  • U-turn

Kangaskhan (F) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Scrappy
EVs: 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Spd
Adamant Nature

  • Fake Out
  • Return
  • Earthquake
  • Protect

These two Pokemanz work really well together. Butterfree is immune to Equake, giving Kangaskhan a free Earthquake to both opponents. Butterfree's Sleep Powder is such a troll, and if my opponent allows me to sleep both leads, I'm in for a favour. This makes the leads pretty foddering, and especially threatening Pokemon are shut down. Whirlwind let's me blow threats away, and Tailwind provides epic support for Kanga to sweep. U-turn is for scouting and gives me momentum in the game.

Kangaskhan has really great synergy with Butterfree, and this makes them a great lading core. Kanghaskan is a basic sweeper, or rather, can shut down threats with Fake Out, giving me a free turn to put that certain threat to sleep via Butterfree's Sleep Powder. Return is a great STAB, landing loads of KO's in general, Earthquake is good because a lot of my team has Levitate, so no damage to me, and Protect is to scout around, and switching...The EVs are to outspeed things like Dragonite, Mamoswine and Togekiss that lerk around... and that is... all for my leads :)

Mamoswine (F) @ Ice Gem
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle Spear
- Protect

Mamoswine is a real asset to my team, and is one of my counters to Lati_s running around in Doubles right now. Ice Gem + Ice Shard = a dent.

Nice for now :D
Why is Rotom's pic so fuzzy :[
Kanghaskhan+Butterfree? Looka familiar...
@DF: I have no idea, but it's stupid >.>
@Enoch: Yeah, it's a core I found on Smogon a few months back, and I thought it would be good for Doubles.
Yeah I know. Try to avoid using Smogon's Showcase RMT's (or any RMT for that matter) as a resource. That Core was designed for 2012 BW VGC's, and are thus pretty unviable in the current Metagame. I can name 5 Pokemon that are better Sleep inducers and Earthquake Users.

Do notice that I am not discrediting your originality or ability to make Teams; I actually enjoy seeing you make RMTs and get better and better each one. Keep up the good work Flare!
Thanks a lot :]
Flare, Scrafty hits half of your team SE with his two STABs and you have nothing to hit him with.
2SpAtk Life Orb Blaze Blaziken (+SAtk) Focus Blast vs 252HP/0SpDef Scrafty (Neutral): 131% - 156% (438 - 522 HP). Guaranteed OHKO.

 252SpAtk Water Gem Rotom (+SAtk) Hydro Pump vs 252HP/0SpDef Scrafty (Neutral): 73% - 87% (246 - 291 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

I know, and I would appreciate if you told me what I could change instead of stating something obvious :D
