Team Building Process:

Bet you can't guess what I added first? Politoed, a rain team isn't a rain team without her. Literally.
![][1]

Next I added a core in the form of Gyarados, Jolteon, and Jirachi, as they have great synergy and all of them benefit from the rain.

Latios was my next addition as I wanted a second Pokemon who could take ground type moves for Jirachi and Jolteon. Latios also balances out my attackers, being a special powerhouse.

I didn't really have a defensive monster on the team or anything to set up hazards, so I chose Ferrothorn which is really a task to take down in the rain.

Bounce? Cool, I guess
Why bounce on gyrados?
I myself use Bounce. It may take a turn to charge up but it does get stab. Chances are that something that can afford to switch in on Bounce happen to take heavy damage from other moves. However I do not see the reasoning behind using it over E-quake.
Yeah that's exactly why I use it. One example is Heatran. Resists Bounce but waterfall is pretty much an OHKO.
SubDD Gyarados use Bounce to gain the Parahax behind the Sub. Basically. It's common. Regular DDs don't use Bounce.
That being said, Intimidate>Moxie.
I always seem to forget about the paralysis chance :P Now that I think about it, Intimidate is better.
Lol no.
Lol no wut? Actually on bulkier sets Intimidate is better to make up for lower physical defense.
... ... ... ...   lol no.
lol yes.
What do you suggest? I'm happy to take suggestions.
Well, here's my take on the ability. Gyarados is a naturally bulky pokemon, and cutting the opponents attack is always a great option. However, if you switch into Gyarados, and are battling an experienced player, chances are you currently have the upper hand. The experienced player will see this as well, and just switch out, --no benefit of stat change. With Moxie, the opponent can't say "no"
I'll consider both, and I'll test them out. Thanks for the suggestion.
