Pokémon Rate My Team

So hey there, I'm Flare and I'm bringing you up to date with my best ever RMT made. I'll show the ladder proof below. So before starting, I'd just like to say that this team is fairly standard, however it really works well together. I somewhat think that this is definitely my best team, look at the ranking, and also it's probably the only team where I've put a whole lot of thought into it, like a lot of thought, :P. When making this team,I didn't even know I had the Scizor-Wash VoltTurn core, but oh well, it happened just like that. Clicks :D

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 152 HP / 104 Spd
Adamant Nature

  • Aqua Tail
  • Stone Edge
  • Crunch
  • Superpower

Banded Tyranitar is my favourite version of Tyranitar, next to the Specially Defensive one, however, on this team, I lacked a good offensive monster. I originally had Terrakion in this spot, however seeing as I had Pokemon that resisted Sand, I made this a Sand Team. Aqua Tail is to deal with Hippowdon and other Tyranitar, Stone Edge is STAB number 1, and provides great coverage, Crunch is STAB number 2, and hits Gengar hard on the switch-in, then Superpower is for dealing with Ferrothorn and some good coverage.

The EV's are a little bit meddled around, and I use 104 Speed EVs so that I can outspeed other Tyranitar using 100 Speed, the standard speed for a BandTar. I maxed out Attack, and dumped everything else into HP to give me longevity.

Scizor @ Lum Berry
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 16 Spd / 240 HP
Adamant Nature

  • Bug Bite
  • Bullet Punch
  • Pursuit
  • Swords Dance

Scizor is one of the best revenge killers in the game, and the Swords Dance variant gives me some great offensive presence. I use Swords Dance over SubRoost because I feel that it gives Scizor more power and makes the most of its boss attack. Bug Bite is my first STAB with Decent coverage and stuffz, Bullet Punch is for priority, STAB and coverage, Pursuit is for trapping Gengar and stuff, which seem to be a problem. Swords Dance is the crux of this set, and gives Scizor some needed power.

The EVs, like Tyranitar have been increased. I put 16 Speed EVs instead of 8 to outspeed the standard 8, but then some sneaky people run 12 to outspeed that, so I run 16 to essentially speed creep them out. Maxed Attack stat, and rest dumped into HP for setting.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 32 SAtk / 228 Def
Bold Nature

  • Will-O-Wisp
  • Hydro Pump
  • Thunderbolt
  • Pain Split

I love Defensive Rotom-W, as it is just a pro boss. It has the capability to take 0 damage from the oh-so-common Earthquake, because of no immunity :D and just works well. Will-O-Wisp is for crippling Physical Attackers, which don't do much to Rotom anyway :3, Hydro Pump for STAB, and OHKO's Gliscor. Thunderbolt is for hitting them Skarmory and stuff, which also gets STAB on it, and then Pain Split is for regaining HP when I'm low on it.

The EV's are there so that they can OHKO a standard Toxic Orb Gliscor, and that's pretty much all. Other than that, they give it the physical bulk, and give it good bulk further by investing HP EV's which enhance its ability to take CC from Terrakion xD

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature

  • Earth Power
  • Fire Blast
  • Stealth Rock
  • Hidden Power [Ice]

Heatran is one of my not very speedy but speedy Pokemon on the team. It provides some good offensive presence, and gives me pace as well as a temporary Ground immunity via Air Balloon. Earth Power is for doing damage to opposing Heatran, as well as some random Pokemon in random switch ins. Fire Blast just wrecks havoc, and dents almost anything that doesn't resist it. Stealth Rock is for providing my sweepers with more help, and Hidden Power Ice is for Dragons, which frequently switch into Heatran, thinking they can set up :3

The EVs make Heatran really speedy, and with Timid Nature, it becomes a pretty fast Pokemon overall, and checks everything it needs to (like Breloom and co). Everything has been piped into Special Attack and Speed, 4 into HP :3
___

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 4 SAtk / 252 HP / 252 SDef
Calm Nature

  • Rapid Spin
  • Knock Off
  • Toxic
  • Scald

Tentacruel, gimme sum of dat Rapid Spinz now. My spinner, and trusted Pokemon that serves my team as utility. Without Rapid Spin, my team would be open to hazards, which would kill me :( that explains Rapid Spin :3. Knock Off works boss in sand, especially on Dugtrio switch ins, as it deals damage, knocks the Focus Sash away, and since Tenta can wall an Earthquake, OHKO's with Scald as well. Toxic wears Pokemon down, stall ftw! Scald, also gives Burns and provides good STAB to hit stuff with.

EVs again like Heatran has been pumped into HP and Special Defence (don't get me wrong, they're not the same EVs) :P and 4 into Special Attack to boost Scald. Almost nothing. I run Rain Dish to counter the oh-so-common Rain Teams, and stall them like a boss.

Landorus (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Modest Nature

  • Earth Power
  • Rock Polish
  • Focus Blast
  • Hidden Power [Ice]

RP Landorus, how very much I love you :P seriously, this thing kills stuff like a boss. Because it is one. The speed it gets after one Rock Polish is just epic, and it can outspeed all major non-scarfed threats (screw Latios) after just one boost. If two, I outspeed Scarfed Latios as well. Earth Power provides STAB, powered by Sheer Force and LO, kewl. Rock Polish, being the crux of this set, raises mah speed. Focus Blast hits Ferrotress and co hard in da face, and Hidden Power Ice is for dragons, same as Heatran.

The EVs are standard, the speed EVS get Rock Polish up quickly, and make its attacking even quicker, the Special Attack and Modest Nature + ability + LO gives this monster some great power, and the speed is provided by Rock Polish.

Finishing dis later.
You have at least 3 RMT's that you have called your best RMT ever. #Loadedlanguage
Well, I improve my RMT as I go along, so at that time, the RMT may well have been my best, but now, this is :D
Ferrothorn rapes pretty much everything but Heatran and Landorus.
Also go for Timid on Landorus to outspeed unboosted Jirachi , Volcarona, and Salamence.
Det Upvote. But CS conquers!
You 1-0'ed me, Mikers. Idk what you're chattin' about :D
He got an upvote and he doesn't even have 6 pokemon posted...
Ben... Udrunkbro?
Uh Ben... Tyranitar, Scizor, Rotom-W, Heatran, Tentacruel, Landorus... :3
Lolol Tenta sprite was glitching and I didn't see it xD
Typical...
I'd like for this team's ladder score to rise, and not just be here because of the ladder restart a few days back ;)

Also, even though Landorus-I with Modest nature is good, opposing Lando's who may have gotten a RP up before you will just easily rape this team without breaking a sweat, if Scizor is dead or lost the Berry and burned. Although Timid nature sure drops a lot of KO's, it's better to depend on teammates than just on one pokemon.
Ben butthurt? o;
Wait there was a ladder restart?

Also Flare you are weak to Haxorua with D Dance and eq.
Yeah, when Cathy got demoted for the problems PS was having with hackers, the ladder restarted.

I mean, really? Standard OU ladder ranking is from 2050 and up.
Oh really? Back when I still laddered I was around 1750. Dx
Okay I'm weak to a Haxorus (I've NEVER battled or used one before) so what can I do to mend it?
Who's Cathy? And why did she get demoted?

Also Flare the best thing against set up dragons is to make sure they can't set up too much. Also having a scarfer helps.
How about Scarfed Landorus over the current one?
Er if you want. I'm not great with Sand but RP Lando is better than scarf i think
