Pokémon Rate My Team

Hello DB. As some of you know, I kind of stopped battling for a bit. And while I have been accepting people's requests to battle, I haven't really battled seriously. (Not like laddering or anything) And no I still don't battle much. But I am in love with on tier, and you guessed it. It's UU. So the idea for this team was simple. Make a team for fun, see how it does. Well I have been thinking about an idea for a team that wasn't the boring tier with the same Pokemon, Ambipom, Raikou, blah blah blah, etc. So a spark lit. Why not counter Rain Dance teams with..... Sunny Day!!!
_____
The team-building process was simple, all I really wanted were some great Sunny Day set up Pokemon, and some Sweepers.

Azelf is a great lead because it's fast, can set up Taunt and Rocks, and can also set up Sunny Day. Leading off an amazing 115 speed, there's not much else to this guy.

I needed a great Prankster, as Tornadus unfortunately can't learn Sunny Day. Sableye also acts as a great wall breaker with Toxic, and can stall the heck out of a lot of stuff. It also acts as a Spin blocker but I'm not too worried about Rapid Spin.

What as a great way to screw up a sun team? Why, Rocks of course. That's why I needed a spinner I can depend on not to screw up and safely spin away hazards.

What was a better sun sweeper other than Victini? Coming off a great 100 Speed and 100 SpA, this guy was ready to sweep anyday. He also has great typing.

Another great Sun sweeper is Darmanitan. I really like to use him as a suicide Pokemon, and try to take out as much as I can. Usually I can take out a lot.

As I needed a Chlorophyll sweeper, Lilligant came to mind. But Lilligant did not have the movespread I desperately needed. With Sleep Powder, Quiver Dance, Giga Drain, and HP Fire, Lilligant was walled by many of the UU tier. Namely Flash Fire Pokemon. Shiftry however, can take out Chandelure in hopefully one hit with Dark Pulse :D

Finally got a replay!

Mr.K wanted this one :P - Still a great battle
___

Lighthouse (Azelf) @ Focus Sash
enter image description here
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Zen Headbutt
- Sunny Day

Azelf makes the perfect lead. With amazing speed (base 115) this guy can outspeed a lot of stuff. Taunt can stop many SR'ers in their tracks, and also set up sweepers. Azelf also has the amazing move Stealth Rock, helping my team land KO's much faster. While not the most reliable move ever, Zen Headbutt is my only STAB and I don't really like using Explosion. Too risky, in my opinion.

Main Counters:

  • Crobat
Crobat just rips this guy apart. Unless I predict right, Crobat can stop this guy from setting up, and then U-Turn'ing out of there quick. Fortunately, that's when Zen Headbutt comes in play.

  • Umbreon
I have nothing to stop Umbreon. Foul Play 2HKO's me to a pulp. The best I can do is switch. And that sucks because not much on my team can take a Foul Play.

Pyre (Sableye) (M) @ Heat Rock
    enter image description here
    Trait: Prankster
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
    Bold Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk

  • Sunny Day
  • Toxic
  • Recover
  • Night Shade

Sableye is top wall-breaker and spin blocker. It's great typing grants awesome coverage. The reason I chose Toxic > Will-O-Wisp is to take care of Swampert, Suicune, and so that my team doesn't fall completely to Flash Fire. I might change to WOW though, because of Scarf Flygon ruining my life. Sableye also acts as a great Pranskter sun inducer.

Main Counters:

  • No main counters, but heavy hitters will ruin me. (Ex: Darmanitan)

    V-Star (Victini) @ Flame Plate
    enter image description here
    Trait: Victory Star
    EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
    Mild Nature
    IVs: 30 SAtk / 30 SDef

  • Flame Charge
  • Blue Flare
  • Hidden Power [Ice]
  • Thunderbolt

Say hello to speedy 101. Flame Charge gets to amazing speed, and then it's sweep time. Sun + Flame Plate + Awesome power = Destruction. That's Blue Flare. I chose to go special > physical because I really hated the aftermath of it. Not only does it neutralize Flame Charge, but it also lowered my already low defenses making me an easy target. I went Hidden Power Ice > Focus Blast mainly to kill Flygon's.

Main Counters:

  • Choice Scarf Flygon
I really have nothing to hit this guy with, except Focus Blast, which is not reliable. My main strategy against it was to try and use other Pokemon to weaken it first, than take out Victini and finish with a Flame Plate boosted Blue Flare.

  • Ambipom
Mienshao wasn't a huge threat, but this guy is. A great speed, and STAB technician Fake Out ruins my life. It really does hurt. But if I do have a speed boost up, Ambipom isn't a big problem anymore.

  • Chandelure
Fire Fire? Nope. Chandy is a huge threat to me because not only can I not hit it with anything other T-Bolt, it also gets a sun boosted Fire Blast. Yippe. My hope? Awesome Shitry comes in to the rescue. I have to predict it right though, because Shiftry can't survive a Fire Blast, Flamethrower, or any Fire move to be honest.

LO > Muscle Band on Darmanitan.
Also, no scarf? Gl vs Scarfed Herracross then.
Yeah I was thinking about that, but I'm stuck on who to replace/change. I have Scarf Darm before, btw. Also, Victini can act as a scarfer if i set up.
Sableye gets Moonlight if you are willing to risk its reliability.
I would, but the fact that I have no Leftovers and that Moonlight only has 8 PP kind of sucks.
@Leboss: I did put scarf on Darm now. Turns out it works so much better, lol.

Pan (Shiftry) (F) @ Dark Gem
enter image description here
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Giga Drain
- Dark Pulse

My main sun abuser, Shiftry gets the job well done. Nasty Plot boosts it's awesome SpA to amazing places. Substitute blocks Toxic. Dark Gem + Nasty Plot Dark Pulse? OHKO. Say hello to the danger zone. But I had SubSalac Shiftry before, should I return to that? Out of sun Shiftry doesn't outspeed much. But on the contrary, Giga Drain was stopping me from actually activating the Salac Berry. Help needed!

Main Counters:

  • Choice Scarf Flygon
Flygon is really giving me trouble, eh? Anyway, out of sun, one U-Turn means I'm dead. This is why I'm considering Will-o-Wisp on Sableye.

  • Mienshao
Again, outside of sun, Mienshao can outspeed me and get the KO with the U-Turn. Another example of why I kind of want Will-O-Wisp on Sableye. Kind of at a crossroad here with Sableye.
    _____
    Toy-man (Hitmontop) (M) @ Heat Rock
    enter image description here
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 HP / 248 SDef / 8 Def
    Careful Nature

  • Rapid Spin
  • Sunny Day
  • Close Combat
  • Foresight

Stealth Rocks will ruin any sun team, which is why Hitmontop is a great Pokemon to use. With Foresigh + Rapid Spin, hazards are guaranteed to go away. Close Combat is a great move to use to hit Pokemon powerfully. Also, this guy is another sun setter.

Main Counters:

  • Chandelure
While I do have Foresight, it is a nightmare to set up, and Chandy outspeeds me and can 2HKO me with a fire move in the sun. I was thinking of Sucker Punch > Foresight, but I really need those hazards away.

  • Mew
I have no way to counter Mew, also Mew has access to Will-o-Wisp which ruins me. A lot.
    _____

Terminator (Darmanitan) @ Choice Scarf
enter image description here
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

This guy can hit so freaking hard with Flare Blitz, it's not even funny. I don't want Life Orb because hazards (Yes, I have a spinner, but he's not too reliable), and recoil damage add up to make to dead in less than 2 turns. So I went for the scarf after some testing, and yes a scarf does work better. It can kill off any stray non scarfed Pokemon, acting as a revenge killer as well as a sun sweeper.

Main Counters:

  • Swampert
Swampert resists a lot of my moves, and can hit back with Earth Power. I could try to kill with Superpower, but....
