The Teambuilding process:

Ok, so this team was in response to Mike and PX saying that Metagross was a very underrated threat in the OU metagame, and that they were going to build teams around it. This sparked my interest, so here we are. One Metagross set I had never tried before was Bandgross, and coming off 135 base Atk, that's ridiculous amounts of power. Then I needed something to check Ghosts and Darks, and suddenly it came to me: Chesnaught. With Bulletproof, that's an effective resistance against the most common Ghost move: Shadow Ball. Fire types then wrecked me, so in came Rotom-W, a TrickScarf set for trolling walls. I then wanted a very powerful Special attacker, so I went for trusty Specs Latios. Yeah, that's 3 Choice items, but one gets tricked away, and the others...very powerful. Despite Chesnaught walling the most common Dark in OU right now, Bisharp (provided no boosts), I still had issues with them. So I called in the big gun, AV Conk. Whilst Rotom-W does check Talonflame, it was the only thing that could take a hit from it. I also needed a spinner, Special attacker and I had a Mega slot free. Seems obvious, doesn't it?

MegaMike (Metagross) @ Choice Band

EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spe
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Clear Body
Moves:
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch

Speed EVs outspeed speed-creeping Heatran, maxed Atk and the rest dumped into HP, since it works well as a tank. Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt, whilst inaccurate, are very powerful STAB attacks. Earthquake kills Fire types and other Steels, whilst Ice Punch handles Ground.

Bossing Machine (Rotom-W) @ Choice Scarf

EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 160 SpD / 16 Spe
Nature: Calm
Ability: Levitate
Moves:
- Trick
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch

Speed-creeps other Rotoms, burn Physical attackers giving pseudo-Defense boost, Trick trolls/neuters other walls, Hydro Pump for STAB, Volt Switch is STAB and switch. Not much else to say, pretty standard stuff.

Naught a chance (Chesnaught) @ Leftovers

EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Nature: Impish
Ability: Bulletproof
Moves:
- Leech Seed
- Spiky Shield
- Wood Hammer
- Hammer Arm

EVs give this guy great mixed bulk, able to tank Physical and Special hits well, along with it's ability. Leech Seed and Spiky Shield give recovery and residual damage, whilst Wood Hammer and Hammer Arm are both very powerful STABs.

Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
Moves:
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Surf
- Hidden Power Fire

Draco Meteor spam! An incredibly strong STAB, even capable of doing more than 50% on resisted hits! Shame about the -2 SpA, but you can come back in later, am I right? Psyshock is further STAB and also kills the sudden surge of Assault Vest users. Surf nets me safe kills against Heatran and friends, whilst HP Fire screws over Steel types

EVs: 148 HP / 252 Atk / 108 SpD
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Guts
Moves:
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch

The clown and the weightlifter all in one. Shows strength by punching you in the face, then either recovers, knocks off your item or fooled you with priority. Ice Punch for Flying types. Pretty much standard Conk, but more mixed bulk than Special.

Armada (Blastoise) @ Blastoiseinite

EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Nature: Modest
Ability: Torrent --> Mega Launcher
Moves:
- Water Pulse
- Dark Pulse
- Aura Sphere / Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin

Water Pulse is boosted by Mega Launcher up to the power of Surf, has more PP and 20% confusion chance. Dark Pulse wrecks any spinblockers, whilst Aura Sphere cleans Steels and Ice Beam gets the Grass. Rapid Spin to get and nasty hazards away.

So, that's the team, all (useful) comments are appreciated, only non-negotiable thing is using Metagross (although the set can be changed.) I may keep Specs Latios too. Anyway, hope you like it C:

Check dem Blasty EVs. And Fairy Weakness again xD
Fixed Blasty, fairies I hate. Most are SpDefensive, so Psyshock reks them, and Meteor Mash atomizes them. No problems so far (until Azu (But Chesnaught :D?))
