Again a RMT? Yes. This is a team I wanted to make from the beginning of VGC 2014. ChinaG came with some quite good ideas and we just put it together. So far is our Hailteam working great. 7-4 in VGC and 25-10 in X/Y Battle Spot. So how we started this? Chandelure and Abomasnow is pretty obvious. After that I read an article on Eggy Emporium and found an AV Lapras. So I added that as well. I wanted to have a second Trick Room Pokémon so I added Aromatisse since it is really slow. But what is even slower than Aromatisse and Aegislash in Trick Room? Right! Escavalier! Gen 6 has been very generous to this fellow. It has acces to Drill Run now so I slapped a Choice Band on it and gave it a go. As last I wanted a slow Wide Guard Pokémon. So after some digging on Nugget Bridge I found someone used a Throh so I went with that one. So lets see what the team us will bring.

Throh @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Atk / 56 Def / 148 SDef
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spd, 0 SAtk
- Storm Throw
- Wide Guard
- Rock Slide
- Protect

My little Wide Guard Pokémon. Unexpected but it works great. This allows me to lead with Abomasnow as well. Wide Guard protects me against Earthquake, Discharge, Hyper Voice, Heat Waves and many more. Rock Slide to hit Charizard-Y and Talonflame. Protect to protect myself against singletargetted moves like Psyshock etc. Storm always gets a critical hit and allows me to 2HKO Mega Kangkaskhan in return. The specifics of the spread will be shown down here due the damage calculations

252+ SpA Choice Specs Gardevoir Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 148 SpD Throh
through Light Screen: 168-198 (74 - 87.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 52+ Def Throh: 150-176 (66
- 77.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Return vs. 252 HP / 52+ Def

>112 Atk Throh Storm Throw vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Kangaskhan on a critical hit: 116-138 (54.7 - 65%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Abomasnow @ Abomasite
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 0 Spd
- Blizzard
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Energy Ball
- Protect

The star of the show. Abomasnow sets Hail and starts spamming his STAB Blizzard from Base 132 Special Attack. Energy Ball as secondary STAB and Hidden Power [Fire} as extra coverage move. Protect to safely Megavolve.

252+ SpA Mega Abomasnow Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 132+ SpD Rotom-W:
132-156 (84 - 99.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after hail damage

252+ Atk Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Abomasnow:
158-188 (80.2 - 95.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Lapras @ Assault Vest
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 204 HP / 4 Atk / 60 Def / 172 SAtk / 68 SDef
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Hydro Pump
- Freeze Dry
- Ancient Power
- Ice Shard

I ripped this one from Eggy Emporium. It works great. Freeze Dry and Hydro Pump as STAB. Freeze Dry has a side effect to hit Super Effective on Watertypes. Ice Shard as Priority which also 2HKO'es Garchomp lacking a Yache Berry. Ancient Power for Talonflame and Charizard Y because they threaten my HailRoom.

172 SpA Lapras Hydro Pump vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Talonflame: 180-212 (116.8
- 137.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 204 HP / 60 Def Lapras:

>252 SpA Adaptability Mega Lucario Aura Sphere vs. 204 HP / 68+ SpD Assault Vest Lapras: 116-140 (50.2 - 60.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

172 SpA Lapras Ancient Power vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Mega Charizard Y: 88-104
(57.1 - 67.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Aromatisse @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 24 SAtk / 136 SDef
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spd, 0 SAtk
- Charm
- Light Screen
- Moonblast
- Trick Room

Another spread I used from Nugget Bridge. I only changed the moveset. Safety Goggles protects me from Powder moves and also taking no damage from Hail. Evs lived a Bullet Punch from Scizor and Mega Gengar his Sludge Bomb. Light Screen to buff my Special Defense. And Charm to lower my opponents Attack by 2 stages before he could attack me since I am nearly the slowest in Trick Room. Moonblast as STAB and Trick Room for Trick Room.

252+ Atk Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 96 Def
Aromatisse: 132-156 (63.4 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

>252 SpA Adaptability Mega Lucario Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 136+ SpD Aromatisse: 168-200 (80.7 - 96.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Mega Gengar Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 136+ SpD Aromatisse:
164-194 (78.8 - 93.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Chandelure (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spd, 0 Atk
- Heat Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Trick Room
- Protect

Ofcourse I needed something to catch the Fire aimed at Abomasnow and Escavalier so Flash Fire Chandelure came in and became my second Trick Room Pokémon. Shadow Ball and Heat Wave as STAB. Trick Room and Protect are pretty obvious. The item may seem odd. Focus Sash saved me many times though so far allowing to pull off another Trick Room.

No mentionable damage calculations due Focus Sash

Escavalier @ Choice Band
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd, 0 SAtk
- Drill Run
- Megahorn
- Iron Head
- Aerial Ace

When I realised this one was in Kalos I used it right away. Although his typing he can be actually a tank. Overcoat granted weather immunity and Spore immunity. With a Choice Band equiped he tears down even standard Rotom Wash. Drill Run for Aegislash and Chandelure trying to switch in on one of his STABS. Megahorn and Iron Head as STAB. Almost OHKOing every Fairy barring Mega Mawile which is a clear 2HKO. Aerial Ace just as filler for some extra Fighting coverage.

252+ Atk Choice Band Escavalier Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Mega
Mawile: 96-114 (61.1 - 72.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Escavalier Megahorn vs. 252 HP / 116 Def Rotom-W:
147-174 (93.6 - 110.8%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Escavalier Megahorn vs. 252 HP / 84 Def
Amoonguss: 205-243 (92.7 - 109.9%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Escavalier Megahorn vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega
Venusaur: 145-172 (77.5 - 91.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after hail damage

So I hope you enjoyed reading and beware of the Snowstorm.

Aerial Ace could be changed to Knock Off, it's other new toy this gen :D?
Another great team AD, but if chandy has fainted then it gives you a quite large weakness to faster Steel types and flying types. Obv not Skarmory though.
A Zapdos and a fire type also defeats most of your team.
