Pokémon Rate My Team

Lol yo, another RMT. This is in Gen 5 NU, and I think the team is pretty solid. What I think normally doesn't matter though <3. I was having a horrible battling day today (Went on like a 6 match losing streak over various tiers :I), so don't know why I decided to post this but MEH LEZ GO

Anyway with this team, I really just grabbed Eelektross, one of my favourite NU Pokemon, and a special powerhouse. Slapped a Lickilicky/Misdreavus defensive core, threw in Primeape as a revengekiller. After this I was like, I shud probably have a set up sweeper some where... OMG GOREBYSS >:D.
I originally had Pelipper as well, but TBH it was a dead weight on my team. Replaced it with Skuntank to take down psychic types and stuff.
I briefly considered a hazard setter/hazard remover, but tbh Hazards aren't all too common, and most of the time I can work around having them on my field or not having them on the opponents.
This also means I avoid the annoying teams which use an Assist+Roar combination with Ditto to set up hazards from you c;

enter image description here
Eelektross @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 84 Spd / 252 SAtk / 172 HP
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Giga Drain
- Flamethrower
My usual lead tbh, with excellent coverage as well as a nice switching move in Volt Switch which deals pretty hefty damage and lets me bring out something else safely. Eelektross has solid bulk (85/80/80) so he can afford to tank a hit or two.

enter image description here
Skuntank @ Dread Plate
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 176 SpD / 80 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Taunt
- Pursuit
- Sucker Punch
HAII MUSHARNA. DIE
HAII MISDREAVUS. DIE.
Etc.
Pursuit traps, Crunch deals solid damage, Sucker Punch Priority, and Taunt just screws up people. 80 Spe to outspeed Gorebyss so it can't se up on me and I can keeeel it :>

enter image description here
Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
My team's revengekiller.
Primeape forms a quick VoltTurn core with Eelektross, and it's a great combo for killing off Miltanks o3o!

enter image description here
Misdreavus @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 220 Def / 240 HP / 48 Spd
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Shadow Ball
- Taunt
One of the, if not the best physical walls in NU :I. Eviolite + Will-o lets Misdreavus tank almost anything, Taunt to shut down stuff, Pain Split as Misdreavus's only actual form of healing and Shadow Ball so I'm not complete taunt fodder.

enter image description here
Lickilicky @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell
- Body Slam
This guy is like Pikamaster. Phat and useless. Jks <3
Lickilicky is my Specially Defensive poke, forming a solid defensive core with Misdreavus. Wish allows him to be a team supporter, especially for Misdreavus who appreciates the extra healing. Heal Bell gets rid of pesky status and Body Slam is to prevent complete taunt fodder and spread a little paralysis which is always nice.

enter image description here
Gorebyss @ White Herb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Shell Smash
- Substitute
- Surf
- Signal Beam
YAY. THE BANE OF HALF THE TEAMS IN NU.
Gorebyss was always wrecks given the chance.
Shell Smash. Get behind a substitute if possible. GGWP.
Signal Beam > Ice Beam in this case, so I have something better to take down Ludicolo with, I can kill specially defensive variants of Exceggutor and I actually have something to hit Water Type pokemon with. Substitute is also a nice move since it prevents more defensively based pokemon from doing much to me, like walls, so I can just boost up in peace and kill. Also lets me play games with Sucker Punch pokemon like Skuntank <3.

you had to put my replay into that lol i was using a *** cursepowder miltank... anyways

there are a few issues with your team and in this rate we'll try to fix them

1) you're missing a decent flying switch-in (if you want to use an electric type as your flying check at least run dual electrics lol the point is one electric just isn't enough)

2) you're missing a decent water switch-in (you don't want gorebyss to take too much damage and it's p frail and dies to ludi anyways and licki is clobbered by dual waters)

3) you're pretty weak to fighting types considering that most fighting types can just apply a lot of pressure on your team and that missy doesn't have any reliable recovery. gurdurr with payback is a huge problem considering you can't burn it

4) where's your electric immune?

5) i wouldn't call a team good if it doesnt have sr js.
~~

Eelektross: that eel set is awful, never use choice specs. it has great coverage and it's not cool to be locked into one move, especially since they're not spammable by themselves.
replace with rotom-s for extra insurance vs fighting types.

Rotom-Fan @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Air Slash
- Volt Switch
- Trick

Skuntank: yea set is cool

Primeape: for some reason people still use this lol it's really bad and weak
use gurdurr instead

Gurdurr @ Eviolite
Ability: Guts
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 4 Spd
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Payback

Misdreavus: you're lacking an electric immunity

Golurk @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 104 Atk / 88 Def / 52 SDef / 16 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Toxic

Lickilicky: not a fan of this at all i feel as if it just saps all your momentum away plus with the changes you're going to need a water switch in and a flying switch in as well so here i'd just go with carracosta

Carracosta @ Life Orb
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Shell Smash
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Jet

Gorebyss: signal beam subbyss is not as good now that jynx is out, and you need a better water switch-in

Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Rain Dance
- Hydro Pump
- Giga Drain
- Ice Beam

~~

yea i p much changed 5/6 of your team but now it's actually good o:

hope i helped lel

I don't know much about nu but if JCM is advocating Ludicolo I'd have to agree with him
needs more lanturn
also if you change 5 of the pokemon, it's not really rating a team, it's suggesting a new team to use
Lanturn is RU :P
there are is no quick fix to a team like this, although if you really really want one, go with ebelt rotom-s and ludi. but still there you don't have a decent flying switch-in.
