PokeBase Meta Battle Subway - RMT

The pressure is on

0 votes

For all the years of competetive battling I've done (a whopping two years) I haven't made a team as unique as this one. This is arguable the best team I ever made and the best that it'll be in a long time. Also for the sake of time, I'm gonna keep descriptions short to prevent y'all from falling asleep :D

Here's a preview for you to enjoy.

Garchomp @ Focus Sash
enter image description here
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Fang

The idea here is simple. I set up stealth rocks and then I try to do as much damage as as possible with outrage and equake. Since Garchomp displays offensive pressure, I can usually force a switch. Sash allows me a nearly guaranteed set up of stealth rocks unless the opponent runs scarfed mamo icicle spear or some ****. Fire Fang gives me coverage I want, especially against mega scizor and ferrothorn, both can set up on me. Very good at what it does.

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
enter image description here
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Icy Wind

Keldeo with specs is my wall breaker. I allows me to break skarm-chans(LOT worse than skarmbliss). It generally has great synergy with garchomp and can force a lot of switches.

Pinsir @ Pinsirite
enter image description here
Ability: Mold Breaker
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Frustration
- Quick Attack
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

My main sweeper here. If I set up a swords dance, it's pretty much gg unless the opponent carries a rotom or thundurus or something like that. It's also my best answer against AV conk(not doing so hot against it looking for suggestions). I'm pretty sure you've read lectures on how good this is so I'll stop here.

Thundurus @ Expert Belt
enter image description here
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast

Thundurus provides me anti-sweep, late game sweep, and general utility all-in-all. I wanted to run leftovers, since life orb takes away all my longevity. But when I ran leftovers, I missed out on a lot of kills against things like garchomp and heatran. Therefore I opted for expert belt. So far so good.

Bisharp @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head

Stops the lati twins and aegislash, this team hates both of them, Also makes the opponent think twice before defogging my rocks away.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Spd
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp

I ran out of ideas

Go ahead and give me suggestions. I'm open to the most noobish of suggestions(looking at you gliscurr :P)

I could run clefable as a cleric if I need too, what are all of your opinions on that?
You can replace Mega Pinsir with Mega Venusaur in order to deal with your Conk weakness. It also neutralizes the Hazard and Rock Weakness. I'd also replace Rotom .
I prefer to keep pinsir, but I can replace rotom, is clefable a good idea?
Cleffy helps your Conk problem yes, but further makes you wesk to Rock Types. Rotom can at least cripple them.  Also you have nothing to stop Deoxys-S, who can also wreck your team.
Err...rock types?
