>Hi everyone. On Showdown I randomly made an RU Team and battled with it. It turns out this team is pretty solid, and I really liked Klinklang. So I battled some more, and I caught a couple of excellent replays. Enjoy!

Malamar

@ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 200 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Topsy-Turvy
- Superpower
- Night Slash
- Psycho Cut

This was my first Pokemon I thought of using. I liked its ability to stop boosting sweepers and to boost itself with a 120 BP move, so in it came.

Dusclops

@ Eviolite
Ability: Frisk
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature
- Destiny Bond
- Night Shade
- Infestation
- Will-O-Wisp

I liek Ghosts, so I went to see if there are any viable Ghosts in RU. Dusclops is perfect, as it cripples Physical sweepers and on its last leg OHKOs with Destiny Bond.

Alomomola

@ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Impish Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Scald
- Calm Mind

I decided to use a Physical wall, so looked for something useful. When Alomomola came up, I fell in love. It has quite a large movepool, so it took me some time to make this set. If you are very familiar of different sets, you'll see this is a pseudo-CroCune set :D.

Hitmontop

@ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Rapid Spin
- Mach Punch
- Sucker Punch

Hitmontop is definately a good lead, especially with Rapid Spin, Fake Out and Intimidate. Mach Punch and Sucker Punch round off the set as good priority options.

Klinklang

@ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Shift Gear
- Gear Grind
- Wild Charge

Aah, the star of the team. I set up Sub, boost as much as possible, then sweep. Gear Grind breaks other Subs and is STAB and Wild Charge is powerful coverage.

Magmortar

@ Choice Specs
Ability: Flame Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Lava Plume

This thing is pretty impressive. With Specs it hits like a truck even when resisted. Lava Plume is STAB and has a great chance to burn, BoltBeam is good coverage and Psychic is pretty much a filler move :I.

I like the team overall, by  I recommend that you replace Psychic with another move, Mayne some coverage just to be safe instead if a filler move. I recommend either Solarbeam, or Focus Blast. It helps with ground coverage.
Good, but Magmortar's set is :/
Magmortar should favor Fire Blast over Lava Plume, or Flamethrower if shaky accuracy is a concern. Lava Plume is more for defensive Fire ones, although rare. Heatran and Torkoal are best users. And run Vital Spirit. It won't take a physical hit, while Vital Spirit lets it check Spore. And Focus Blast can be useful as well, but idk if it is worth the accuracy drop, especially with Fire Blast (if you're gonna run it).
I don't know if it is also worth dropping Malamar and bringing some rocks out of there, because Klinklang would thank you for it.
Finally for Magmortar, it is not very fast, so Modest works as well. Or, you can bluff the choiced item using Expert Belt.
Other than that, great team.
