Pokémon Rate My Team

This team pretty much consists of a lot of pokemon I've always wanted to try, but never had the chance to use. As such, I don't know how good the team is when put together, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Meloetta @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Relic Song
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Despite my user name, I actually haven't used Meloetta much competitively, largely because it is banned from battle spot. But this team is just on Showdown, where Meloetta is in the RU tier, so I though I would give it a try. This is the physical variant. Relic Song changes its form, Close Combat is STAB, Knock Off is coverage and a great move, and U-turn is for momentum. I went with the Lonely nature so I didn't decrease SAtk, which would make Relic Song do less damage.

Magneton @ Eviolite
enter image description here
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Volt Switch
- Flash Cannon

Magneton is another pokemon I haven't tried using. I went with the Speed decreasing nature to try and get the most out of Analytic, which boosts your power if you attack after your opponent. It is pretty much a straightforward Special Attacker, although the Eviolite does enable it to take most attacks (aside from Ground, anyway...)

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 110 Def / 40 SAtk / 110 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Leech Seed
- Toxic
- Moonblast
- Substitute

Whimsicott has an unusual EV spread, but it gives it pretty much the same in Defence and Special Defence. I wanted a little SAtk investment so Moonblast would do some more damage, and the remainder went into HP. I think it's a pretty standard Whimsicott set - Substitute allows it to avoid statuses, and the HP loss is recovered pretty quickly with Leech Seed + Leftovers. Toxic is for stalling, and Moonblast is for when I get sick of stalling and just want to attack.

Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Infestation
- Toxic
- Hex

Its EVs and nature are focused on SDef for 2 reasons - it already has great Defence, and Will-o-Wisp nerfs any physical attackers anyway. Infestation is to force the opponent to stay in, and Hex does a lot of damage when the target is burned/poisoned.

Banette @ Banettite
enter image description here
Ability: Insomnia --> Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Atk
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect
- Destiny Bond
- Knock Off

To be honest, I'm not sure why I chose that EV spread. I think it was just the one showdown suggested. Protect is to get your Prankster activated after mega-evolving, and is also useful for stalling out the burn damage. Will-o-Wisp is priority, as is Destiny Bond. Knock Off is useful.

Ambipom @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Aerial Ace
- Payback
- Seed Bomb

This is, I feel, the least useful pokemon on this team. I have battled with this team several times, and Ambipom is the only one that has never really done anything useful. Still, its EVs and move set is fairly obvious. Fake Out is STAB and technician boosted. Aerial Ace is also boosted by Technician, as is Payback if Ambipom attacks first. Seed Bomb is coverage.
