"What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?"
Well with this team, that immovable object is going to move.

So I have posted several teams over the past couple weeks, in a frantic attempt to prepare for the national tournament, in Boston. The teams I have been building are all over the place with me trying 5 different megas and many different team builds. After I lost 3 straight battles I thought to myself, what am I doing wrong, and I turned back to the team that know better than the back of my hand...the runer up to the masters divsion 2014...Jeudy Azzarelli! I completely agree with his battle strategy and going on the offense for all turns of the battle, and using multiple very high base stat pokemon. However as almost all of you know he lost to Se Jun Park, and I have analyzed many of his battles and I believe I have found a couple of his fatal flaws. So I built my team with these ideas in mind. Just for fun I named my team after some of the titans from greek mythology. Just as a reminder I do want help for this team. If you have any improvements please say them, it would be much appreciated.

The Team:
enter image description here
Helios (Charizard) @ Charizardite Y
Shiny: Yes
Ability: Blaze --> Drought
EV(s): 124 HP, 92 Defense,132 Special Attack, 4 Special Defense,156 Speed
Modest nature
Heat Wave
Solar Beam
Overheat/Ancient Power
Protect
The main mega of the team partners well with most of the others. Overheat acts a nuke when Charizard is about to faint. With Charizard’s insane high Special Attack Stat + Drought + STAB + Overheats base 140 power =death to some Pokémon. However I do like the coverage that ancient power offers and I generally have problems with opposing Charizard-Ys and Talonflames and this offers me a solid check. Spamming Heat Waves is very effective for most Pokémon and Solarbeam is used on types that resist Heat Wave. I never thought I would do this but with the format of the team, it required a bulky Zard.

Atlas (Rotom-Wash) @ Sitrus Berry
Shiny: Yes
Ability: Levitate
EV(s): 252 HP, 36 Defense, 44 Special Attack, 164 Special Defense, 12 Speed
Calm nature
Hydro Pump
Electro Web
Will-O-Wisp
Pain Spilt
The bulkiest Pokemon on the team, he can tank hits like a boss. Before I was using the standard Hydro Pump/ Thunderbolt/ Will-O-Wisp/ Protect set but I changed it and I love infinitely better. The chip damage + STAB + Speed Control makes him an ultimate support Pokemon. I also opted for Pain Spilt for the recovery, and the damage on the opponent. He is bulky enough to not have protect. Will-O-Wisp is very valuable to cripple these physical attackers. An excellent pivot for this team, patches up several weaknesses.
enter image description here
Prometheus (Salamence) @ Life Orb
Shiny: Yes
Ability: Intimidate
EV(s): 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Timid nature
Hydro Pump
Heat Wave/Flamethower
Draco Meteor
Protect
I wonder if game freak knew back in gen 3, when designing Salamence, that they were creating of one of the best designs for VGC Pokemon ever! With his amazing ability Intimidate; his high special attack, attack, and speed; and his diverse move pool, he is a monster. I knew he would make a valuable addition to the team. Draco meteor can kill just about any Pokemon that doesn't resist it. Hydro Pump is coverage and I chose this over the more common Stone Edge or Rock Slide so I do not have to EV spilt or use a defense lowering nature. I love Heat Wave because chip is so important, however in double battles, flamethrower offers more damage and accuracy, so it is a tough choice. I also went for Life Orb or Choice Specs so I would be able to switch between moves, and get additional power on said moves.
enter image description here
Cronus (Metagross) @ Assault Vest
Shiny: Yes
Ability: Clear Body
EV(s):60 HP, 252 Attack, 48 Defense, 60 Special Defense, 92 Speed
Adamant Nature
Bullet Punch
Zen Headbutt/Brick Break
Ice Punch
Bulldoze
I love the Assault Vest version as it truly turns Metagross into an offensive tank. Great Defensive typing. He also has a great move pool. Bullet Punch is priority which is great because he is not the quickest. Ice Punch can check the dragons and Landorus, the nice trick is he has Clear Body and is not scared of the intimidators and smashes them with Ice Punch. Bulldoze is another speed control move that has chip damage. Zen Headbutt is STAB but has little coverage, and since he is slow he usually does not get the flinch bonus, so I might replace it with Brick Break or even Hammer Arm to act as a Trick Room Counter.
enter image description here
Iapetus (Lucario) @ Lucarionite
Shiny: Yes
Ability: Inner Focus --> Adaptability
EV(s): 4 HP, 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed
Timid nature
Aura Sphere
Hidden Power (Ice)
Flash Cannon/Follow Me
Protect
No one functions better as a second mega than Mega-Lucario. Lucario has well balanced stats, ability to take fake outs with Inner Focus, then Mega Evolve and gain adaptability. Aura Sphere dents any Pokemon with 160 base power. Hidden Power Ice to take out those Dragons and Landorus which run the show in VGC. Flash Cannon also gets the adaptability boost to 160 base power but offers very little coverage after a fighting and ice move. So redirection through Follow Me could also be very useful.
enter image description here
Hyperion (Tyrantrum) @ Choice Scarf
Shiny: Yes
Ability: Rock Head
EV(s): 72 HP, 252 Attack, 184 Speed
Adamant nature
Head Smash
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Iron Head/Poison Fang
For the longest time I have been making this team, I quickly found the first 5 and everything settled into place. All I need was a very strong Physical Pokemon with a diverse Move pool that did not compound weaknesses. At first I tried Tyranitar, who preformed well, but opened me up to a severe fighting weakness, and I did not have many ways to counter that. Then I tried making Tyranitar the second Mega, which worked well and I might consider going back to this, but the team synergy felt off. I went on to try Haxorus, Feraligatr, Dragonite, Garchomp, and Mega-Kangaskhan. However one day I thought...maybe...just maybe...a really uncommon Pokemon could work...a non-mega....a dragon....king of the dinosaurs...Tyrantrum! A very under rated Pokemon, he can Head Smash almost any Pokemon. Any Pokemon that resists that gets Earthquake or STAB Dragon Claw. He can maximize his Earthquake with the 2 Flying types and 1 Levitate user. Poison Fang or Iron Head for Fairies or any Pokemon that tries to stall out. With 225 Base power and no recoil with Rock Head, he is a force to be reckoned with. Although I really do like Tyrantrum, if any Pokemon should be replaced it should be this guy, but there has to be solid reasoning behind it, and it can not compound weaknesses.

Thank You
So that is the team I hope you liked it, and be sure to wish me luck in Boston for the national tournament! Thanks for reading. Have a great Summer!

No, Tyrantrum is fine. Don't be nervous, just put your team out there and see where it goes.
Overall i like this team but i can SUGGEST a few changes. by all means, ignore me if you disagree.
-as you mentioned, lucario, while powerful, gets shut down fairy easily. I would use Mega salamence because of its field-covering capebilities
Yeah yeah I have defiantly considered it, I could do that
I had one question as well! Would this team work well for single battles? If not what changes would you make (in detail and specifics if you can). Otherwise I really love your team here!
Well yeah you could use similar Pokemon for single battles, however you would have to take Protect off all the Pokemon that know it, remove heat wave and add flamethower on Salamence and Charizard Y. Also put thunderbolt on Rotom-Wash.

Leads:

enter image description here + enter image description here
This is the lead I use if a team has an obvious rock or ground weaknesses. The two Pokemon in combination can catch the opponent off guard, and can proceed to sweep their team.
enter image description here + enter image description here
These two psuedo-legendaries are very strong and is usually the lead that I use if I don't know what to expect. The form a steel-dragon core, and if anyone is faster than Salamence Metagross can slow them down with Bulldoze. If they can't be slowed down by Bulldoze, Salamence protects and Metagross smashes that flying Pokemon with Ice punch.
enter image description here + enter image description here or enter image description here
This one is again about speed. Metagross or Rotom-Wash slow down the opponent so they can be killed by Charizard. Also Rotom-Wash can buff up Charizard's mediocre defenses with Will-O-Wisp. Another very Solid lead
enter image description here + enter image description here
My best bet against weather teams (non-sun) Lucario does not get damaged by Sandstorm and kills Tyranitar. Salamence gets his Hydro Pump boosted in the rain. Forms a nice core.

Team Building Process:
enter image description here
We have all thought how OP Charizard Y is and he is my favorite Pokemon, so I made my team around him.
enter image description hereenter image description here
I needed a powerful dragon and intimidate so I thought "Why not Salamence".
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
I needed another powerful Pokemon, one with resistances...ah ha...Metagross!
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
I still had a bad rock weaknesses and needed a secondary Mega, and Lucario fit the description.
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
I needed a bulky Pokemon and a nice Pivot, Rotom-Wash had several needed resistances.
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
I tried scarfed tyranitar but he wasn't working out
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
I liked Tyranitar as a secondary Mega and I might go back to this, but my wins dropped off a little bit so I changed it
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
Haxorus also worked well here, but perhaps there is a better one.
enter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description hereenter image description here
I finally settled on Tyrantrum for his sheer Power and his ability to break the enemy team.

I could not fit the EV sets in this answer so they will be added as a comment below!
Even though there is already a answer to this question I still want answers and improvements! Thanks Again!
I hope that gave you a better understanding of my team!
