Pokémon Rate My Team

My 3rd team. I well…did a lot of reforms, I suppose. :P I wouldn’t say its reliable and ready to go, but at least it’s better than my first team. I’m still playing on Showdown OU, so I could change my team easily if u think it’s essential. My highest score: around 1319 (current). If u would be willing to, apart from ur advice, plz tell me if I’ll just be stopped in my tracks by some barrier or if I have potential to go on. I still have a lot to learn. :)

I know it won't help much, I’ll still write down main summaries anyway. Just skip it if ur bored with the passages.

Galvantula @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Giga Drain

Galvantula’s main job is to set up Sticky Web ( to reduce opposing sweeping chances) and to take out the opposing lead or if not possible, dealing some heavy damage with Thunder. Thunder with STAB is my major spam move. In particularly, after holding onto its Focus Sash it can also bring Lead Charizard Y down to low health (KOing it by a slim chance), then letting Azumarill finish it off with Aqua Jet. Giga Drain is just to restore health while dealing damage plus coverage.

Blastoise-Mega @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Mega Launcher
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Dragon Pulse
- Aura Sphere

Spinner. I know it’s a bit of a waste, but I had a mega to spare and Starmie didn’t really fit well on this team. I do kinda miss the coverage ice beam has, but I guess I can’t do anything about that… I think I do need the spin. Dragon Pulse for Dragons (m-zard X included)same with Aura Sphere – I don't have any fighting type moves otherwise. It gets wore down very easily but it is my most powerful and bulkiest sweeper b4 boosting.

Rotom-Heat @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SpA
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect

Will-O-Wisp is for crippling Bulky attackers and lets Blastoise or Azumarill clean up after. Rotom-H resists Talonflame's stab moves, which can wreck my team with Gale Wings. I usually volt-switch to Blastoise. Blastoise and Rotom-H counter each other’s weaknesses fairly well. Other times I switch to Gliscor to set up. Protect is for stalling, chipping damage off hard hitters, while also weakening pokemon late game to make way for sweeping. Somehow now its turned into a purely stalling pokemon. Well it works alright, so I'm not gonna complain.

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Ice Punch

Fairly standard set. Ice Punch is to deal with Dragon Types and Grass Types, usually taking them by surprise. I enjoy adding my own touch to the movesets provided. Sitrus Berry helps even if I’m not Belly Drum setting up. I send it in early or middle game. My most reliable sweeper.
____
For the Fifth Slot, i have 3 options: (Please give me advice on which to choose or another pokemon I should use not mentioned here) I'll keep on changing it when no one answers...
(1) Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off
- Poison Jab

Revenge-killer. After cleaning up, it starts sweeping on its own. I send it in middle-late game. Fairly Frail, it can't take a STAB move usually.

(2)Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- Roost
Also revenge-killer. Fairly standard SD Talonflame. Fairly Frail tho. I usually need a clean switch to guarantee it not being OHKOed instantly.

(3) Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt
Traps steel types, and also provides another volt switch option. Somehow fits better in my team as a support than the others. Resists Mega-Venusaur and Fairies. Using Magnezone now. It's form of attack is more reliable than my other pokes.
___

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

My major setup wall. I added it to counter stall teams, apparently it breaks stall? Hidden power Ice and Ice Beam is so common I just couldn’t leave out a substitute. Rock Slide is for hitting flying types hard and also hitting Volcarona or Talonflame that would otherwise barge through my team like a boss. I’ve thought of Stone Edge, but is the accuracy worth it? It also resists both of Volcarona’s STAB moves. Sets up fairly well if ice types and water types and knocked out.

I haven’t had some very obvious and fatal problems, but I’m sure it’ll show up soon, like all of my past teams. (Just 2 actually, but whatever) Anyway plz tell me ur advice and I'll listen to it.
