Only cards from EX Hidden Legends, EX FireRed and LeafGreen, EX Team Rocket Returns, and EX Deoxys are allowed. However, Energy from previous sets and Basic Fossil Cards are allowed (such as Mysterious Fossil and Root Fossil).
x3 Whismur (HL)-Needed for evolution.
x2 Loudred (HL)-Needed for evolution.
x1 Exploud (HL)-120 HP is always good. Breaking SOund is good for one energy, doing 10 damage to eeach of my opponent's Pokemon. Bass Control is a decent two for 30 to any Pokemon. One more energy gives me 30 damage and Confusion. One more and i get a 60 damage attack.
x3 Rattata (Snarl) (TRR)-Call for Family is a nice attack to get me powerful Basics such as Snorlax.Snarl either does 10 damage or paralyzes. Needed for evolution.
x2 Raticate (FR&LG)-Can't be affected by Special Conditions and has no retreat cost. Pickup gets me a Pokemon, a Trainer, and an Energy which is really awesome. Quick Attack can do 50 damage for one energy.
x2 Doduo (FR&LG)-Resistant to Fighting. Needed for evolution.
x1 Dodrio (HL)-Fighting resistance and no retreat cost. Fast Feet allows it to retreat even when paralyzed or poisoned. Retaliate can do up to 70 damage for two energy and Slash Strike does two damage for 40 damage.
x4 Snorlax (FR&LG)-A great 90 HP basic. Collapse is a one for 10 that puts Snorlax to Sleep. This is great as Snorlax heals off two damage counters between turns when asleep and Toos abd Turn does 60 damage for three energy when Snorlax is asleep.
x2 Kangaskhan (FR&LG)-An 80 HP basic. Collect helps at the start as it gets me one energy and it has decent attacks, a two for 20 and a three for possible 50. Since these atacks can use DCE this is nice.
x1 Tauros (FR&LG)-A 70 HP basic. Knock Over is a one for 10 that gets rid of Stadiums. Rampage can end up doing a lot of damage quickly, especially with Confusion and Venture Bomb.
