Only cards from Rising Rivals, Supreme Victors, Arceus, and HeartGold SoulSilver are allowed. However, Energy cards from previous sets are also allowed.
x4 Gastly (Lv. 16) (Arceus)-Lick is a decent one for 10 that can paralyze and Night Shade does damage to the bench also, meaning it can be used as setup for Gengar Lv. X. Also has Normal resistance. Needed for evolution.
x3 Haunter (Lv. 37) (Arceus)-Has a one for 20 attack and Normal resistance. Needed for evolution.
x2 Gengar (Lv. 44) (Arceus)-A more powerful version of the Fossil Gengar, which was one of my favorite cards. Curse is great, allowing me to move around my foe's damage counters as needed to suit my purposes. Shadow Skip is great. It is a three for 60 that does 10 damage to one of my opponent's benched Pokemon and then allows me to retreat. Add on Normal resistance and we have a great Pokemon.
x1 Gengar Lv. X (Arceus)-Adds on 30 HP to Gengar. It has the ability to put Lv. X cards my opponent has out back into his deck, which can give me a nice advantage. Compound Pain is great. For three energy it does 30 damage to each of my opponent's Pokemon with damage counters on them.
x3 Nidoran ♀ (RR)-A 60 HP basic. Needed for evolution.
x2 Nidorina (RR)-Jump Tackle is a one for 30 attack. While it might do 10 damage o Nidorina, this actually helps me as if Nidorina has any damage counters on it then Stress Poison becomes a three for 60 that poisons the foe. Needed for evolution.
x1 Nidoqueen (RR)-120 HP and resistance to Electric. Maternal Comfort is great. It heals off one damage counter from all of my Pokemon any time between turns. Mega Punch is a great one for 40 attack. Ruthless Tail is a three for 50 that does 10 more damage for each of my opponent's benched Pokemon, meaning it can do up to 100 damage.
x3 Koffing (HGSS)-Smokescreen is a nice one for 10 stall attack. Needed for evolution.
x2 Weezing (RR)-Smog is a decent one for 20 that poisons. Damage Breakdown is a great one energy attack. It does damage to the foe equal to the number of damage counters on Weezing. It then confuses Weezing. This is great, especially when Weezing is about to go down. It does great damage to the opponent's Pokemon (up to 70) and since Weezing is confused, my opponent can't get a prize for knocking it out.
x2 Meditite (SV)-A 60 HP basic. Needed for evolution.
x1 Medicham (SV)-Channelingis a good two for 60 attack. While it has my opponent draw two cards, this can work to my advantage. This deck can stall well, so I can go with decking my opponent. I can also use Copycat to draw more cards as my opponent has more cards. It also make Chakra Points, a three for 10 that does 10 more damage for each card in my opponent's hand, more powerful.
x4 Bench Shield (Arceus)-Protects the Pokemon on my bench.
x4 Copycat (HGSS)-Drawing. Works well with Medicham.
x4 Moomoo Milk (HGSS)-Healing.
x1 Pokemon Contest Hall (RR)-Gets me basics and gives them bench protection. Also removes any Stadium cards my opponent has in play. It can thin my opponent's deck out before they realize that this is partly a stall deck. And it can allow for Nidoqueen to do more damage.
