Only cards from Unleashed, Undaunted, Triumphant, and Call of Legends are allowed. However, Energy cards from previous sets are also allowed.
x3 Horsea (Unleashed)-Can do 40 damage for two energy. Needed for evolution.
x2 Seadra (Unleashed)-Has a one for 20 that does 10 damage to a benched Pokemon. Needed for evolution.
x3 Kingdra (Prime) (Unleashed)-130 HP. Its Pokemon Power puts one damage counter on one of my opponent's Pokemon each turn. Not much but it helps, especially if I have all three Kingdra out there. Also has an excellent one for 60 attack.
x3 Poliwag (Unleashed)-Gets me basics. Needed for evolution.
x1 Poliwhirl (Unleashed)-Has a one for 20 that puts the foe to sleep. Needed for evolution.
x1 Poliwrath (Unleashed)-130 HP. Has a two for 40 that does 20 damage to a benched Pokemon. Also has a three for 60 that with a heads flip becomes a three for 100 that confuses.
x1 Politoed (Unleashed)-120 HP. Can retreat my water types, which is nice for Poliwrath and especially for Mamoswine. Has a three energy attack that has me flip a coin for each Water type I have in play and then does 30 damage times the number of heads.
x2 Swinub (Triumphant)-A 60 HP basic. Needed for evolution.
x1 Piloswine (Triumphant)-100 HP. Needed for evolution.
x1 Mamoswine (Triumphant)-140 HP. Snowstorm can be really powerful, a four for 70 that does 20 damage to each of my opponent's benched Pokemon with damage counters on them. Seeing as I have Kingdra and Poliwrath, this can be easily achieved.
x3 Psyduck (Triumphant)-A 60 HP basic that can potentially do 30 damage to one of my opponent's Pokemon. Needed for evolution.
x2 Golduck (Triumphant)-Powerful Splash is a great two for 30 that does 10 more damage for each Water energy attached to all my Pokemon. Golduck also heals off two damage counters every time I put a Water energy on it.
x4 Professor Elm's Training Method (CoL)-Gets me evolutions.
x4 Team Rocket's Trickery (Undaunted)-Drawing and has my opponent discard a card from their hand.
x4 Rare Candy (Unleashed)-For evolving.
x3 Junk Arm (Triumphant)-Gets me back Trainers.
x2 Energy Returner (Unleashed)-Gets energy back into my deck from the discard pile.
x20 Water Energy-Needed.
