I am starting to like Rain Teams now. My first Rain Team was very good. I hope this one is, too.
Politoed @ Leftovers

Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Special Attack / 252 Special Defense'
Modest Nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Hypnosis
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
I've decided to keep my Politoed from my last Rain Team. It works really well. Hydro Pump is for STAB. Hypnosis is for putting the opponent to sleep so I can hit them with Hydro Pump or Ice Beam. Usually when I put someone to sleep, they switch out. That's when I use Toxic to poison. Ice Beam is for Pokemon like Gliscor, Dragonite, etc, which are commonly used in OU.
Gastrodon @ Leftovers

Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Special Attack / 132 Special Defense
Modest Nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Recover
This guy is my staller, if there isn't a grass type around. Earth Power is for STAB. So is Scald. Ice Beam for Dragon types which have a very annoying move. (Outrage) Recover is to heal when my HP is low.
Toxicroak @ Black Sludge
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch
I <3 Toxicroak because of it's ability. It's very helpful in rain. Substitute is to try do get some Swords Dance in while not really taking any real damage. Swords Dance is to power up my two attacking moves, Sucker Punch is when I know they're going to attack. Drain Punch for healing and some damage.
Jirachi @ Leftovers

Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 128 Defense / 252 Special Attack / 128 Special Defense
Modest Nature (+Spa, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Calm Mind
- Thunder
- Psychic
Jirachi is great in rain because its only weaknesses are fire and ground, and in rain not many people are going to use a fire type move, and ground is predictable enough so i can switch to someone that's immune to ground attacks. Stealth Rock for a hazard. Calm Mind to boost my Special Attack and my Special Defense. Thunder and Psychic for attacking, and pared up with it's ability, it's great.
Thunderus-Therian @ Choice Specs

Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Special Attack / 4 Special Defense / 252 Speed
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Focus Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Volt Switch
Not much to say about this guy except that he attacks and attacks. Thunder for 100% accuracy. Focus Blast and Dark Pulse for extra moves. Volt Switch if I switched wrong, and I want to get out.
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb

Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Attack / 4 Defense / 252 Speed
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Aqua Tail
I like Gliscor because Toxic Heal is extremely helpful. Not only does it heal, but it prevents other Pokemon from putting status on me. Swords Dance for boosting my attack. Earthquake for STAB. Toxic is to stall, a little bit. Aqua Tail gets boost from rain.
That was my Rain Team. I hope you liked it!
