Well considering how flexible my profile is right now, I'm going to post a few thoughts and speculations on Pokemon X and Y.
Froakie: Well heck yes to this thing. I'm definitely thinking this is going to be a favorite pokemon eventually. I've heard different speculations on it's typing, and I'm hoping for Water/Electric.
Froakie is also the starter that I'm going to probably use on my first run through the game.
Chespin: This guy is also pretty darn cool. He's looking like he may top the rest of the grass starters here, which is really awesome. Grass/Fighting speculation seems to make a lost of sense, and I'm looking forward to being able to abuse dat jazz.
Fennekin: I'm not a huge Fennekin fan by what I've seen, but I can only hope that he'll end up being a cooler version of Ninetales with a psychic sub-type.
Xerneas - Has slowly grown on me more. I also think Xerneas is going to prove my theory of light types being introduced in 6th generation.
Yveltal - The main reason Y version is looking cool for me! This thing is looking like a super legit legendary. That's just about all I have to say, considering name and appearance is all we have.
Sylveon - Was the catalyst for my prediction of light types in Gen VI. While I got the sneaking suspicious from Xerneas, this really pushed things over the edge for me. Design is pretty neat, though it really lacks in my eyes the same way that Glaceon and Leafeon did. While I'm not a big fan of the newer eeveelutions, it's good enough for me.
As for the games themselves..
Everything looks nice and updated. It seems as if we're going to be able to customize our characters and the new graphics are pretty nice for a pokemon game. I plan on getting Y version with Froakie as my starter as of now.
