About me:	I have been a fan of the Pokemon anime since before I even knew what anime or even japan was. I first played Pokemon Ruby for the Gameboy Advance. Unfortunately, i lost interest shortly after beating it because the vanilla game was too simple feeling to me (I beat the entire game using only Blaziken without ever even switching out or catching another pokemon. I was only focused on winning.) I put off pokemon games for a while until Pokemon X and Y came out (at first i was one of the "The new pokemon are stupid" people but grew to love pokemon like Goodra and Aigislash). I almost had the same problem: The game felt too simple. I still loved pokemon and wanted to keep playing it but it just got so boring to me. Luckily i got bored one day and decided to look up how pokemon meta-game worked and fell in love with the competitive aspect. I wanted to get into competitive really badly but making pokemon teams and getting pokemon bred and keeping track of IVs and EVs was too intensive for my brain to handle so i found pokemon showdown and INSTANTLY fell in love with pokemon again. Now, if we can just get competitive and non-competive pokemon trainers to stop hating each other XD.
