Flamethrower-A good STAB powered attack is always fun.

Hidden power [Grass]-this guy needs some kind of coverage.

Sucker punch-Everyone is just gonna finish this guy off, so sucker punch is actually useful.-covers extra types.

will o wisp/Amnesia-If you want to boost his stats, or cut though your opponent's attack.

Why this guy is a Fire type is beyond me. Since when were ant-eaters fire types? Now a fire ant I would understand being a Fire/Bug type. This guy should have been a ASteel type and Aianto a Fire/Bug type. Although they do already have Urugamosu...

EVs: Attack, Sp Attack, Defense Nature: Sassy

Will-o-wisp: Burn! Burn! Hahahahahahaha!

Heat Wave: Burn! Burn! Burn with a 10% chance and high power!

Shadow Claw: A good move to have to deal with Psychics and Ghosts.

Taunt: Stop the foe from using stat moves.

Heatmor is a fire type because he and Durant both live in Unova. Durant is a Steel type, and Heatmor is a Fire type, which is super effective against Steel. Anteater eat ants, and FIRE defeats Steel.

Heatmor @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Fire Lash
- Pursuit / Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Stockpile

The overall strategy is to use Stockpile, Will-O-Wisp, and Leftovers to tank hits while Fire Lash wears down the opponent. Pursuit can be used to attack fleeing foes while Knock Off provides a useful utility.

This is essentially a Toxic staller except Fire Lash and Will-O-Wisp are used in place to provide more bulk.

Heatmor is one of the worst Fire-types. I mean, let's face it.

Since you're not gonna be using this guy more than one or twice in battle before he faints, might as make the best of it. :3

I'm a big fan of Hone Claws. Raising Attack I'm not worried about, it's the Accuracy(: Inferno has a slim chance of hitting, as well as Focus Blast, so with Hone Claws it'll increase the Accuracy by a lot. You're not going to be in the battle very long anyway, so might as well do some damage. c:

Stockpile makes everything better.

Stockpile- Boosts both defenses so now Heatmor can take hits.

Giga Drain- Heals and covers all weaknesses.

Flamethrower- STAB.

Sucker Punch/Will O' Wisp- Sucker Punch is the main reason to use Heatmor over other fire types in NU. Will O' Wisp can save you from Earthquakes and Stone Edges. Natures also change depending on which move you choose.

252 HP/128 Def/128 SDef EVs. Brave or Modest nature.

A decent physical set, makes work in PU. Physical Heatmor is so good as he can't be willowed thanks to being Fire type. best of all, he hits 558 Pokemon super effectively, and the rest for neutral. Good luck with your BURNING DEATH!!!

Trait: Gluttony
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 4 Spd
-Stockpile
-Belch
-Giga drain
-Fire Blast/Flamethrower

Details/strategy:
Stockpile boosts both defenses and will turn Heatmor into a tank. Starting off using this move gives the chance for Heatmor to take a hit and activate the berry early on.
Belch deals great damage and can be used repeatedly after consuming the berry.
Giga Drain is for coverage and additional healing.
Fire Blast has great STAB and not too bad accuracy (compared to Inferno), but if you want more secure accuracy, then Flamethrower is for you.

Good move set, but if I'm not mistaken gluttony doesn't affect the sitrus berry consumption since gluttony makes a pokemon eat the berry at 50% hp and that's already the case with the sitrus berry. So you'd be better off using white smoke or flash fire.

The idea of this set is to hit the opponent with Fire Lash and then use Pursuit if they try to switch. The other two moves are just coverage.
