Klinklang @ Leftovers/Life Orb

Trait: Clear Body/Minus

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

  • Shift Gear
  • Gear Grind
  • Wild Charge
  • Substitute/Return

BW2 Klinklang at its finest. BW2 gave Klinklang a gift it would love, Wild Charge. Because of that, Klinklang can run Shift Gear efficiently, and not run Discharge. Shift Gear as you know, boosts Attack by 1 stage, and Speed by 2 stages. Gear Grind is STAB boosted by Shift Gear, breaking Subs on the process. Wild Charge is Discharge's replacement, while being better by actually being boosted. Last Move is based on choice really, Return for more damage while Substitute makes you boosted freely. Item is based on preference as well, which needs no explaining.

Why Minus as an ability? Don't you always want Clear Body, seeing as Minus does nothing except in Doubles/Triples and Clear Body protects your Shift Gear boosts?

I also like using Rock Smash in that final move slot. :3
Because Clear Body isn't released yet I believe. And Minus sounds cooler than Plus :P
I was about to do this set XD
I said that comment before 'cause he removes the pics on my posts all the time, despite the fact it annoys the living crap out of me. You do realize that image is illegal?
Has it came to your mind that this has been here for months? Just because your images are removed doesn't mean you have any right to declare mine to be removed. Quit being annoying and go waste your time somewhere else. God damn.

Gigigear is what happens when you try too hard to be like Magnezone, and boy, did they do a crappy job at that. I'm almost mad at this stupid-looking creature. "Throw it in the NU pile!" is what I want to say, but unfortunately, it'd work really well in an UU Sandstorm team.

Here's what I'm thinking, for a Sandstorm Lead:

Gigigear Klinklang
@ Smooth Rock
NATURE: Hasty
EVS: / 252 Speed / 252 Special Attack / 4 HP /
Clear Body

MOVESET:

Gear Saucer Gear Grind
Sandstorm
Volt Change Volt Switch
Return / Trick Room

Good point on sf. However, PM wanted us to make seperate movesets.
Oh, my bad. How ironic; I'll have to go and fix one of my own answers, then!

Klang the gear wall

Item: Evolite
Ability: Clear-body
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 Defense, 252 S.defense, and 6 attack

Toxic
Rest/Protect
Screech/Shift-gear
Gear-grind/Rock-smash

475.5 Defense..wow. 403 S.def...also wow. 11 resistances...again wow. I included evolite boosts in that by the way. Toxic is your stalling move which is always awesome. Rest is for somewhat unreliable healing which should only be used when your opponent can not set up while Protect can be used for toxistalling. Screech can annoy the opponent by lowering there defense or you could try to wall sweep with Gear-shift. Gear-grind would be for taking out Poison types who are immune to Toxic while Rock-smash would to the same to Steel types.

Those defenses are nice until you realize how crappy his HP is; he has a bad case of Shuckle Syndrome.

Klinklang @ leftovers/Quick Claw/Life Orb
Role: Physical Sweeper
Nature: Adamant(Atk+,SpA-) OR Jolly(Spd+,SpA-)
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
•Shift Gear (increases attack and Speed)
•Wild Charge (better for Klinklang)
•Gear Grind (GREAT after Shift Gear)
•Return/Giga Impact (better than rock smash, my opinion)

< Wild Charge can't be learned in Pokemon Black and White...

Hope you guys enjoy!! C=

Klinklang @ Leftovers

- Wild Charge

Klinklang@sitrus berry or leftovers or life orb

Nature: Adamant

Ability: clear body

Evs: 252 attack, 252 sp. attack/ 252 speed, 4 def.

Move:
Shift gear
Gear grind
Recycle/ charge beam/ lock on
Zap canon/ thunder bolt

Shift gear is just awesome. Its boost klinklang's already decent attack while doubling its speed and with a base 90 speed, is almost impossible to out speed unless the other Pokemon has a boost. Gear grind hit for 150 damage when STAB is included. Recycle recycles thee sitrus berry, making sure klinklang has a semi-reliable way of recovering, although I don't recommended it much. Lock on allows zap canon to have perfect accuracy, while charge beam gives a boost to its sp. attack. Zap canon is raw damage and paralysis. Thunder bolt is for accuracy.

The evs maximize klnklang's damage output, while adamant gives a boost to its attack, which is good for gear grind. Sitrus berry is to recover health lost from setup, leftovers Is passive recovery, and life orb is a staple for attackers.

Hoped this helped:)

One of my favorite sets to run on Klinklang

enter image description here
Klinklang @Lefties
Trait: Minus
Careful Nature
EVs: 252 Hp, 252 SpD, 4 Atk
-Magnetic Flux
-Protect
-Toxic
-Gear Grind

The objective of this set is to wall everything while hitting hard also. Magnetic Flux is basically Cosmic Power for this thing, getting it nice and defensive. Toxic is there to stall with its nice new bulk, and Protect allows free lefties recovery and a toxic stall. Gear Grind is there so Klinklang won't get Taunted and forced to use Struggle. Plus it breaks Sashes, which is actually really good for sweeping teammates

It'd help to get a description on how it should be used, like.
Yeah sorry I was in a rush getting this thing typed in because I had to go somewhere. I'll get to explaining right now

Mixed Attacking Klinklang @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Clear Body

Nature: Modest

EVs: 252 SpAtk, 252 Atk, 4 Def

Shift Gear: A great setup move that can potentially make Klinklang a sweeper.

Substitute: Allows for a safer setup.

Gear Grind: Somewhat inaccurate, but it can get through abilities like Sturdy and compliments from Shift Gear nicely.

Thunderbolt: A nice and reliable special attack, and can help against Water types that would normally be a slight problem for pure Steel types.

My item of choice is the Rocky Helmet, because it's obvious that Klinklang resists a ton of types. Its also a Physical wall, and because most physical moves make direct contact, it'd make sense to put the Rocky helmet on.

My main strategy is substitute, set up with Shift Gear, and sweep when possible.

why have modest because it is a mixed set, and modest lowers you physical attack.
Why will you use thunderbolt instead of wild charge?
Correct me if i'm wrong, Its SpA is only 70. 100 Atk is better

Gen 8 ZU

Klinklang @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Gear Grind
- Shift Gear

A Substitute + Toxic set. Substitute is for scouting moves. Toxic is for poisoning opposing Pokémon. Gear Grind is for STAB that hits twice and also helps you not to become Taunt bait. Shift Gear is for raising your attack and speed so you can still have an offensive presence while still being able to spread poison. 252 HP EVs is to help with your bulk. 176 Speed EVs puts you at a speed of 260, which allows you to outspeed base 80 scarf Pokemon after one boost from Shift Gear. The rest of the EVs are invested into attack so you can have some sort of an offensive presence.

Gen 8 ZU

Klinklang @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Atk / 172 SpD / 60 Spe
Careful Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Gear Grind
- Volt Switch

A Toxic + Protect set. Toxic is used for wearing down opposing Pokémon. Protect works well with Toxic and allows you to get a free turn of Leftovers recovery in addition of being able to scout opposing Pokémon. Gear Grind is for STAB so you can do chip damage on opposing Pokémon. Volt Switch is for pivoting.

252 HP helps to maximize bulk. 172 Special Defense EVs along with a careful nature allows you to tank a Thunderbolt from Specs Rotom, as shown by this calc:

252 SpA Choice Specs Rotom Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 172+ SpD Klinklang: 153-181 (47.2 - 55.8%) -- 21.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

60 Speed EVs allows you to outspeed Pokemon like Articuno, Qwilfish, and Adamant Alolan-Sandslash. The rest of the EVs are in attack so Gear Grind can do a little more damage.
