There aren't really many ways the phrase the question but whatever. I still think this should be an Unown evolution...

Sigilyph seems like a nice special sweeper with good type coverage.

EVs: Speed and SpAtk
Ability: Magic Guard + holding Life Orb

  • Psychic
  • Ice Beam
  • Energy Ball
  • Psycho Shock (great cover for pokemon high on the SpDef like Blissey)

Or get a Thunder Wave in there somewhere.

Mine needs to know Fly, which of the moves you mentioned should I replace with it?
Hmm. I think the move is called “Psyshock”?

I run My Sigilyph with this moveset, it has magic guard

Sigilyph @ Leftlovers / Custap Berry

Evs Def / Sp Def

  • Cosmic Power ( Defense Boost )
  • Roost ( Cover the Hp loss )
  • Stored Power ( It has awesome power once reached the +6 boots on all defenses )
  • Air Slash ( Coverage ) / Toxic ( Stalling ) / Psycho Shift (If Holding any of the Status Orbs)

What weakness does air slash  counter?
I prefer Miracle eye. HIT ALL THE POKEMON, even the Dark types :P

Nature: Timid. EVs: 4 HP, 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed. Item: Life Orb. Ability: Magic Guard.

Hypnosis: Correct

Dream Eater: YES

Show ball: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hidden Power Fighting/Flash Cannon: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Hmhm, if you can get your hands on a 70 base power HP fighting that's good but Flash Cannon is a little big stronger but covers 2 weaknesses instead of 3.

can i just say that saying "yes" and "correct" and "HAHAHAHAHA" doesn't tell why you are using the move?
lmao xD
Hypnosis/Dream Eater combos havent worked in years, the opponent just switches out and then dream eater fails.
The first three moves go terribly together. You want to know why?

Here are two Stored Power sets: Defensive Inclined and Offensive Inclined

Defensive Inclined
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Calm (+SpD, -Atk)
EVs: 252 HP, 252 SpD, and 4 Def
Item: Flame Orb
- Stored Power
- Psycho Shift
- Roost
- Cosmic Power

Offensive Inclined
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, and 4 SpD
Item: Flame Orb
- Stored Power
- Psycho Shift
- Roost
- Calm Mind

The point of these sets is to pass the burn from Flame Orb to your opponent. Then you start using either Calm Mind or Cosmic Power. When low on HP use Roost to heal. Then use Stored Power to finish the opponent. The only recommendation is to have a Fighting type on your team to cover the Dark types that these sets can't defeat.

Wouldn't Defense be less important than Special Defense given that you're burning your opponent?

My current Sand Sigilyph

Sigilyph (M) @ Life Orb

Trait: Magic Guard

EVs: 4 HP / 16 Def / 236 SAtk / 16 SDef / 236 Spd

Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

  • Psyshock
  • Shadow Ball
  • Energy Ball
  • Roost

Magic Guard lets you not take Sandstorm damage, Hail damage if someone takes that approach as a counter, and gives you a damage free Life orb set.
Psyshock hits for STAB, and I prefer it to Psychic. Shadow Ball covers other Psychics, and other Sigilyphs. Energy Ball gives great coverage, and roost can get you some Hp back if you take a hit.

Sigilyph is quite a useful Pokemon that can be overlooked. It's strong and has a a wide movepool. This set could be useful in which it can take stuff out quite quickly.

Sigilyph: Special Sweeper
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Modest (+SpAtk,-Atk), Mild (+SpAtk,-Def), Rash (+SpAtk,-SpDef)
Characteristic: +Special Attack or +Speed
Moveset:
Psychic - STAB, chance of lowering Special Defense
Air Slash - STAB, chance of flinching
Ice Beam/Flash Cannon - Coverage, chance of freezing/Coverage, chance of lowering Special Defense
Calm Mind - Raises Special Attack and Special Defense to make it a better sweeper

Thunder Wave: to cause a status problem
Air Slash: STAB, strong(est) Sp. Attack move, may cause flinching
Flash Cannon: to cover Rock and Ice-type weaknesses
Psychic: STAB, strong(est) Sp. Attack move, accuracy 100, may lower target's Sp. Defense

Sigilyph is a very good Pokémon, with high Def/Sp. Atk/Sp. Def stats and a very high Speed stat.

all I can do is laugh

  • dark pulse(covers ghost and gets other psychics)
  • air slash(STAB)
  • psychic(STAB)
  • ice beam (covers rock)

Rock covers Ice, not other way around.
its both
no ice is super affective on ground not rock
Ice isn't good against Rock

Sigilyph @ Leftovers
Ability: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
item: leftovers
252 sp.def
252 def
4 speed
- Stored Power
- Charge Beam
- Cosmic Power
- Hypnosis

use hypnosis to make them fall asleep, and then get your cosmic powers up (rais D and sp.D by 1). If you are confident use charge beam to raise sp.atk. Stored power is psychic type, and has base 20 power. However, after 6 cosmic powers, it will have 260 power, because it gains 20 power per stat raise. After 6 charge beams it will have 380 power, and if you count the x4 boost by raising sp.atk, it has a whopping (including STAB) 2,280 power! That is gauranteed to knock anyone out, even resisting Pokemon thanks to tinted lens. You just have to watch out for krookodile, as both charge beam and stored power don't affect it.

[email protected] Barb
Magic Guard
Naive
-Dazzling Gleam/Heat Wave
Coverage, Heat Wave burns and deals with Steel types
-Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball EDIT: you could run Trick to give the opponent the Sticky Barb
Coverage, and as they're basically the same you can take your pick.
-Psychic
Preferable STAB move
-Energy Ball/Giga Drain
Coverage, and in the case of the one I prefer, Giga Drain, healing
Basically, this Sigilyph uses a varied moveset and Magic Guard to cripple opponents, and the Sticky Barb may hurt attackers. Also, Magic Guard prevents Sticky Barb damage. You could use a Life Orb instead, as Magic Guard also prevents Life Orb damage.

Why Naive instead of timid? What EV's?
Sorry. Both of those were mistakes.
Timid
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spd/4 HP

Item: Doesn’t Matter (mine is luck incense)
Nature: Lonely (+attack, -defense)
Ability: Wonder Skin (halves acc. o/ status moves targeted at user)
Move set:
Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse (handles Ghost types)
Fly (stab, waste of opponent move unless still can hit)
Dazzling Gleam (handles slow dark types and with low sp. def)
Highly Recommended: Psychic Type move (psychic or psybeam for STAB and higher damage for fighting types than dazzling gleam and handles poison types)
