I want to hatch a shiny Teddiursa so I'm using a Teddiursa and a Blaziken, the blaziken is from a different country so the masuda method is in use. Any other tips?

  1. Soft reset (if you're not already doing this). Save just before you get the egg, and then cycle to get the egg hatched. If it's not shiny, reset and try again. This is so you don't have to constantly release non-shiny Teddiursas.

  2. Shiny Charm. It's a pain to get, but it stacks with Masuda method, so if you have the patience, catch every Pokemon in the National dex and get the shiny charm from Juniper (I forgot if it was Juniper senior or junior that gave it out, but they're both in the lab in Nuvema).

Other than that, there's not really much else. You just need patience.
