PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

Hey guys, came up with a New thread idea as you can see!

I've been lookin through Pokemon to see how annoying I can make my teams, and I thought, "hey, why can't other people as well!!". So, this is where you can!!

What is a troll Pokemon I hear you ask? Well, it's a Pokemon that is so annoying that it makes your opponents tear their hair out and cry in a corner. It's so impossible to get passed you feel like never ever playing Pokemon again. And it's so funny to use you might die from laughter after seeing the amount of ragequits they cause.

So, basically, I want to see everyone's favorite annoying Pokemon and annoying sets to go with it!

Btw it can be any tier, but the sets have to actually work and cannot just be "in theory".

use your imagination my dear DB fans! Get posting!!

Why use feint attack if foul play is better? Ok you said any ability so I wil give it inner focus when it has a much better hidden ability.
U know what would be really trolly for generations before gen 6? Having shedninjas ability on a sabelye
And that's another strategy that's completely ruined by taunt.
Ok this one I think we have all seen i call it the buff clefable.
Clefable (any gender).
Ability: magic guard.
Evs: Whatever
Cosmic power
Stored power
Use cosmic power to raise it stats as high as you like. then use minimize so you're opponents have a high chance of missing.
When if they have you almost low moonlight that will add to the rage.
And last but not least because your Def SPdef is so high and you're evaisness is.
Use stored power and do alot of damage compared to them (if they have a ghost type your screwed.
Magikarp...  If you are using it, you gotta be trolling.  :)

I don't know.  I have only played up to gen 5 and so far one of my favorite things to combo is:

Jumpluff @ Leftovers

Leech Seed
Sleep Powder
Mega Drain

Start with sleep powder against something that will likely have a super effective against you.  Then proceed to leech seed and leftovers heal up while mega draining.  If you are high health or just put them to sleep, just flash until they can't have accuracy lowered.  I feel like it is troll but, it is probably just bad XD.  It was in pokemon crystal version anyway pretty far back.

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
Nature: Bold (something that raises def or sp def)
EVs: 252 Defense 252 Sp Defense 4 HP
-Shell Smash
This set is unbelievably stupid and broken. You use shell smash to raise you defense and sp defense, toxic for non poison types, infestation to rack up damage, and then use rest whenever you need health.

I absolutely love using Clefable in 1v1 battle or trolling other people in general. Here's what I use:

Clefable @ Sitrus Berry
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Def / 4 SpAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature

  • Cosmic Power
  • Soft-Boiled
  • Any move you need for your team
  • Stored Power

First, use Cosmic Power to get that Def and SpDef up. That way, you can be sure that Clefable can withstand any attack. If you're feeling ambitious, than max that Def and sped all the way up to really piss off your opponent. Soft-Boiled is there to heal up if your opponent has any super-effective and/or powerful move. The Magic Guard ability ensures that Clefable doesn't take any damage from burns or poison. I would think that you'd probably want your Def and SpDef really high. Stored Power adds 20 more power for each of the user's stat boosts, so that would match Cosmic Power nicely. The last slot is saved for moves that you either enjoy using or need type coverage on, so that's your choice. In case the opponent immediately takes the Clefable's HP away, the Sitrus Berry will immediately heal up.

I will contribute:
Gothitelle @ Choice scarf
Ability: Shadow tag
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Rest
- Trick
- Thunder wave
- Protect

First turn you trick the choice scarf, then paralyze. Then start switching between gothitelles and set you screens.
Gothitelle @ Focus sash
Ability: Shadow tag
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 Spd
Bold Nature
- Reflect
- Light screen
- Miracle eye
- Protect
Someone might even forfeit, but this gets destroyed by many things:
- Ghost types
- Foes that hold choice items
- Assault vests
- Z crystals
- Mega stones
But hey. It's supposed to iritate not beat everything :P

I use shuckle:

Shuckle @ Leftovers
ability: contrary
Evs: 252 spd/ 252 def/ 4 hp
1) Shell smash
2) Toxic
3) protect
4) Infestation

I've beaten so many threats, like Arceus, Ultra necrozma, Mega-blaziken, charizard, and Rayquaza, with this set. I can't even count on 2 hands how many times I've made people rage with this set.

I also use Shedinja

Shedinja @ Focus sash
Evs: 252 atk/ 252 spe/ 4 hp
jolly nature
1) Agility
2) Swords dance/Hone claws gen 7
3) Shadow claw
4) leech life

Shedinja isnt the fastest, so use aglity and it outspeeds just about anything, and if you can get up a swords dance you can ohko just about anything. Leech life is there to help regain health, because shedinja is extremely bulky. shadow claw is good for crits. Use a focus sash so you can get an agility up, or if you like the risk lum berry.

Is this troll set a troll?

Here are two awesome trolls I love.
Spiritomb @Choice Scarf
EVs:252 HP/128 Def/128 SpD
•Pain Split
•Foul Play
Give them a scarf, disable their attack, and they will probably switch. If you are damaged, pain split. If you aren’t, foul play.
Whimsicott @Leftovers
EVs:252 HP/128 Def/128 SpD
•Leech Seed
Leech seed. Spam protect and sub.

I have a troll Pokémon that isn't new, but it's unique. I call it: Koga Tactics Muk! Came across this one with Koga in LeafGreen. Here's the strat:

Muk @Lax Incense Ability: Poison Touch
Acid Armor
Disable/Poison Gas (up to preference)
Poison Jab (Gunk Shot works but only has 8 PP)
Start by spamming Minimize. Once it has 3x Evasion, spam Acid Armor until 4x Defense. With this, it'll be basically impossible to hit Muk, but even if they do, it'll do basically nothing. Poison Jab and Poison Powder is designed to slowly poison them as they flail and fail desperately. You get to watch your opponent slowly die, alone and afraid...

Why Poison Gas and not Toxic?

Gen 8 Anything Goes / National Dex AG

Gothitelle @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature

  • Trick
  • Cosmic Power
  • Rest / Taunt
  • Stored Power

Come in on a set up mon/defensive Pokemon, then Trick the Choice Scarf. Congratulations! Your enemy has been locked into a status move. Then, you can set up with Cosmic Power, then deal good damage with all of those boosts + STAB. Rest allows you to heal from status and is Gothitelle's only recovery, but you can use Taunt in scenarios like this where you want to kill your opponent via Struggle damage and can't do much damage with Stored Power.
