If you have a good competitive moveset for Avalugg, post an answer below and upvote the best ones. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread.

Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. items, abilities, natures and EVs. Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Access the full list of guidelines here.

Avalugg Pokedex & learnset for reference.

Showdown: Doubles OU
Avalugg @ Leftovers
Ability: Ice Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Avalanche
- Toxic
- Protect
- Body Press
Explanation: This set should be used in double battles alongside this Alolan Ninetales set:
Ninetales-Alola @ Light Clay
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aurora Veil
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Protect
So, Ninetales sets up Snow Warning, causing Avalugg's ability Ice Body to activate. Aurora Veil is to help out Avalugg with taking hits.
With Avalugg's high defense and Aurora Veil setup, physical attacks aren't really going to do much it. Toxic is to help Avalugg wear down Pokemon with crazy HP. Protect is to let Avalugg get a free the of Leftovers and Ice Body recovery. Body Press works well with Avalugg's high defense.

Things to watch out for:
Special sweepers
Opposing weather setters(Sand Stream Tyranitar)
