PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

Scraggy is pretty cool so I decided not to evolve it and I'm having trouble deciding if I could use these moves:

1. Bulk Up
2. Drain Punch
3. Head Smash
4. Foul Play

Ability: Moxie

And here's its original moveset:

  1. Headbutt
  2. Foul Play
  3. Bulk Up
  4. Low Kick

Ability: Moxie

Can you give me a good moveset without telling me to evolve it or release it?

Is this for LC, or standard Level 50/100 battles? If this is solely for ingame, it doesn't really matter as long as you're reasonably leveled and have good coverage.
Thanks that really help.

I've read your question and I believe I may have the solution. First of all which do you prefer? A stronger Pokemon who wins you battles? Or a cool/cuter who looks great but doesn't win as many battles?

Most competitive, battle-loving trainers would choose the former as they prefer powerful Pokemon that score them wins. If this is the case for you, I suggest you evolve Scrafty.

Scrafty's Moveset:

Scrafty @ Life Orb
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Iron Head

The best offensive Moveset you can have on Scrafty ^^
Dragon Dance turns Scrafty into a power house of a Pokemon capable of cleaning through teams. With a powerful stab move in High Jump Kick, it's sure to dent anything that doesn't resist it. Knock Off is a strong and spam-able move that hits hard and gets rid of the targets item! Iron Head is mean and very powerful, it comes with a useful chance to flinch and it hits the fairy types very hard.

The ability Shed Skin is much better than Moxie. It cures Scrafty's burns and paralysis which is ideal when trying to sleep. In short, it acts as a never ending Lum Berry that has a 30% of activating itself when Scrafty is under s a status. Life Orb grants additional Power.

Once this Scrafty gets going, it's very hard to stop ^^
