If you breed two Ditto together, what happens?

Can you get a legendary Pokemon from it? I believe the answer is no but someone keeps telling me that they've done it before & got a deoxys egg.

You can't breed them. Ditto can't breed with undiscovered Pokémon and other Dittos.
