A fun Pokémon to use alongside its little friend Pyukumuku.

Pyukumuku @ Leftovers / Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Impish Nature
- Soak
- Toxic
- Counter
- Recover

Pincurchin @ Kee Berry / Shuca Berry / Expert Belt
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Modest Nature
- Protect
- Thunderbolt / Thunder
- Venoshock
- Recover / Hex / Scald / Brine

Pincurchin draws in Electric attacks (which Pyukumuku is weak to) and increases its Special Attack stat.
The idea is to use Toxic > Venoshock/Counter > Recover > Venoshock/Counter > Recover > ...
In case your opponent switches to a Steel type, you can use Soak + Thunderbolt/Thunder and poison it after that.
Hex is an option for Pincurchin as well since it will double the damage when your opponent is poisoned, and it's also a good coverage move. Scald/Brine is another great move to pick.

Gen 8 NU
Pincurchin @ Electric Seed
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Zing Zap
- Liquidation
- Curse
- Recover
Explanation: Upon setting up Electric Terrain, the Electric Seed gets consumed, boosting it's Defense. It can also boost its Defense even more along with the Attack stat using Curse. Zing Zag is for STAB, and Liquidation is for ground types. Recover is to help Pincurchin stay in the field longer.

Gen 8 Monotype [Electric]

Pincurchin @ Terrain Extender
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
Bold Nature
- Rising Voltage
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes / Scald
- Recover

You'll never really want to use Pincurchin when you can use Tapu Koko instead, but if for some reason you like to ignore the meta, you'll want Pincurchin. This set is supposed to set Electric Terrain for abusers like Alolan Raichu. Terrain Extender prolongs Electric Terrain, and the Bold Nature boosts its Defense while lowering the unnecessary Attack stat.

Both Spikes and Toxic Spikes are used to soften up opponents so your teammates can take them down more easily. Recover helps Pincurchin stick around, which is good if Electric Terrain ever needs to be set back up after it fades. Rising Voltage is a nice STAB move that's even better in Electric Terrain. You can choose Scald over Toxic Spikes if your team struggles with Ground types or physical attackers, and your only answer is Pincurchin for some reason.

The 0 Attack IVs minimize Foul Play and Confusion damage. The EV spread helps make Pincurchin bulkier, an important factor in its longevity on the field.

Gen 8 NU

NU terrain setter

Pincurchin @ Terrain Extender
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Rising Voltage
- Spikes
- Recover/Scald
- Memento

Pincurchin is the only electric surge user in tiers below OU, so if you wish to use Electric Terrain , you have to use Pincurchin. Pincurchin should be used on Terrain Hyper Offense teams alongside the sweepers Unburden Sceptile and LO A-Raichu. This is the core: https://pokepast.es/589dcd738b374dfa

Rising voltage is stab that's powered up by electric terrain. Spikes gives nice residual damage. Recover lets it heal, and scald hits ground types like Mudsdale. Memento lowers the opponent's stats to allow a sweeper to come in and set up safely.

They should work now. You need to leave a line and a space for them to work, like this:

For my spikey ‘mon

Trick Room Sweeper / Physical Wall

Pincurchin @ Electric Seed / Life Orb
Ability: Electric Surge/Lightening Rod
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpD / 4 HP
Adamant / Careful Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Curse / Poison Jab
- Zing Zap
- Liquidation

Sucker Punch for that sweet priority
Curse for more Attack, Defence and Speed (in Trick Room) or Poison Jab for coverage
Zing Zap for your STAB
Liquidation for them Ground types
If your running Electric Surge then I would recommend Electric Seeds as a item as it boosts as it boosts Def and adds an immunity to Poltergiest
Lightening Rod works best with Life Orb

This Pincurchin is for a pair with Iron Hands (But you could possibly do it with other future paradoxes)

Pincurchin (With Iron Hands)

Pincurchin @ Terrain Extender
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
Tera Type: Water
- Curse
- Zing Zap
- Liquidation
- Memento

So Pincurchin with Electric Surge (Boost Iron Hands' best stat) and Terrain Extender (Which makes Electric Terrain last longer) can let Iron Hands sweep for even more damage than it will already do. Curse because your speed is already super low, so you're most likely not even going to outspeed Pokemon anyway. Zing Zap is a boosted in ET and also has a chance to flinch. Liquidation is for Ground types. Memento is since Pincurchin isn't the best Pokemon and if you want to get a major stat drop then I recommend it.

Rain Dance, unless you are running a Swift Swim Mon isn't worth it, even with the Liquidation boost. Why Jolly? You could run 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 SpD Adamant or something, but Pin isn't fast enough even with Jolly to flinch with Zing Zap.
You aren't outspeeding anything with base 15 speed even with jolly.
