My Pokémon are not in the daycare and haven’t been traded, where could they be??

Question

I’m playing Pokémon platinum and I cannot find my Dusclops. It’s been a few years since I’ve played it, so I may not have the clearest memory but I’m pretty sure I didn’t transfer or trade it. The same situation is for Heatran! I checked the Pokédex and it says I caught it, but I can’t find it in any of my PC boxes and they weren’t in the Solcean daycare. Help??

They're not in your party, are they?

If they're not in the PC or Daycare, and you didn't transfer or trade them, then they're either in your party, on the GTS, or you released them. I'm pretty sure there are no other possibilities.
