What is the logic behind Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist being able to learn fire type moves such as Flamethrower? I get the move Will-o-Wisp, since they're part ghost types. But what about learning Flamethrower, Fire Blast, and Flame Charge? They're also part grass type?

Gourgeist may be based on a Jack-O-Lantern with the upper part of its body representing the candles in Them. And as Candles being lit with Fire, Gourgeist may be able to expel that Fire.

Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist are partially based on Jack-o-lanterns. How do you light up a Jack-o-lantern? With fire. It's likely that Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist simply harness some of this fire to use against opponents.

Hope I helped!
