Mr. Mime (M) @ Life Orb

Trait: Technician

EVs: 236 SAtk / 252 SDef / 20 Spd

Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

• Magical Leaf
• Icy Wind
• Charge Beam
• Psyshock

Make use of Technician. Icy Wind gets a boost and slows down the foe. Charge Beam is boosted and has a great chance of raising your Special Attack. This is a make-shift BoltBeam combo. Magical Leaf provides further coverage and gets boosted by Technician. Also, it can be used to hit Sand Veilers. Psyshock gets STAB. Life Orb gives your moves more power. The EVs give you some bulk, along with enough Speed and Special Attack for Icy Wind and Charge Beam to help out.

If it is holding the Life Orb, wouldn't the moves get enough power to overpass Technician? I could be wrong, but if I'm not, then maybe a different item would help, like maybe Leftovers or Sitrus Berry would work better. Other than that, great moveset!

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

• Power Split
• Thunder Wave
• Taunt
• Protect

Power Split ( Unlike power swap which only affects stat changed ) Is the obvious way to power down physical Sweepers, with his HORRIBLE physical defense, this screws them over.
And Thunder Wave takes their speed, and many times their ability to attack for a turn.
While Taunt stops toxic users Willo Wispers and to avoid being Taunted.
And Protect is for Leftovers stalling, and just plain annoying people with Taunt + Protect.

Power Swap only exchanges boosts to Attack and Special Attack, not the actual attack and special attack stats.

Ability: Technician

• Magical leaf (doesnt miss, powered up by technician, coverage)

• Shock wave (doesnt miss, powered up by technician, coverage)

• Hidden power Ice (if you are lucky and get one with exactly 60 base power, coverage and being powered up)

• Psychic. (STAB, a 60 base power hidden power would make no sense because it would be as strong as psychic which also has the effect of lowering the foe's sp.atk.

Icy Wind hits multiple Pokemon and lowers their Speed. It is also boosted by Technician. Charge Beam is boosted by Technician. I've said before that stat bosting was risky. However, when your stats are boosted by an attack, it is much less risky. Psychic is STAB. Teeter Dance cn be used with Own Tempo teammates to give Mr. Mime a better chance at survival.

Best moveset for mr. mime

1. Psychic
2. Magical leaf
3. Barrier
4. Brick Break

psychic is good because its strong and has a better chance of hitting.
Magical leaf is good because it never misses and its strong
barrier is good because it doubles your defense and mr. mimes defense pretty much crap
and now finally brick break. this I good against dark types which is mr. mimes only weakness other than ghost type. and its better than focus blast and focus punch because it performs an attack in one turn rather than two. also, it hasa better accuracy.

Brick Break would probably not be that viable since Mr. Mime's Attack stat is horrible.  If you wanted to go with a Fighting type attack, Focus Blast would be much better.  Sure, not as accurate, but it will actually do some damage (and Focus Blast doesn't take two turns to perform).  Even if you used Focus Blast three times and only hit once, you'd probably do the same amount of damage as three Brick Breaks.  BUT, now that he's part Fairy... Darks aren't as dangerous, and if they were... Dazzling Gleam would take care of them.

Psyshock is one of the two STABs on this set and hurts special walls with low physical defences. Psychic can be used if you want a stronger hit. Both hit Fighting and Poison types.
Dazzling Gleam is the second STAB option and has general good coverage. Hits Dark, Dragon and Fighting types.
Focus Blast is used to deal with Steel types that resist both STAB options. Also hits Ice, Normal and Rock types.
Shadow Ball is used for other Psychic types and Ghost types. Thunderbolt can be used for Water and Flying types.

The idea is to be a really solid support in doubles. Fake out to shut down the threat. Icy wind lets you do some damage , however the main goal is to slow down both opposing Pokemon, making your other Pokemon have a better chance to out speed . Encore is to completely shut down the opponent in a move for 5 turns, so a Pokemon setting up won't threaten you for a good while. Wide guard or quick guard is used based on what your TEAM needs more; do you want multi-hits negated, or do you want fake out users or Scizors (any priority) getting shut down? now the filter ability and the EV spread is to let you live as long as you possibly can. Finally, timid nature is so you get a little more out speeds early game. Out speeding won't matter so much with a couple Icy winds. The focus sash is just incase you get hit really hard, or just to give the most survivability possible.

  The best Psychic type move- go-to, 100% accuracy, and a chance to lower SDef.
• Nasty Plot- (Egg Move)
  Yes, my minion! Think of bad thoughts to double your Sp. Atk!
• Light Screen- (TM16)/ Reflect- (TM33)
  Use these to make an unbeatable team- if this is your Specially Defensive Mr. Mime, use Light Screen!

In order to get Mr. Mime with Nasty Plot, pair it up with a Hypno that knows Nasty Plot from leveling up! Mine has Soundproof so it isn't affected by Drasna's Noivern's Boomburst! Then I shall defeat it with a Dazzling Gleam!
Change the last move up to your needs- If you'd like to defeat those pesky steel types, use a Focus Blast!

I wish that Mr.Mime can perfectly learn Mirror Shot,Mirror Coat and Counter attacks on it's own level and get rid of Magical Leaf.

Nature: Timid (Spe+, -Atk)

To make use of its move Trick it can be very annoying, especially with physical sweepers when you give them a Flame Orb which cuts your attack in half (Bye Azumarills). Once you have your Flame Orb taken away from you, you might want to use Protect and play it safe (and to give them the burn status) or use Power Split to make their attack cripple even more but risk getting killed. Thunder wave could be for stalling and for Fire types.
Other than that, cut your opponents attack and/or speed, switch to another Pokemon, and sweep ahead. (or stall)
